I was skeptical of trying the Strawberry mousse, and was pleasantly surprised by it's taste. I use a full scoop in 8 oz. skim milk and it comes across like vanilla Quik or a Strawberry shake. For full transparency: No, you can not completely get rid of the aftertaste. It is still whey protein mix and it will still taste like protein mix no matter how much flavoring you hide it with. That said, this is unquestionably the most palatable Protein I've ever had. I'm not sure how Syntrax did it, but I could literally drink this stuff all day long. Regarding other reviews complaining it doesn't mix well. I'm not sure how they are mixing this, but take a few bucks and get a blender bottle (it's has a screw-off cap and a wire mixing ball inside) here on desertcart for under $7. I've yet to have this protein not mix well and can only guess they are using a glass and a spoon which never mixes a shake very well. I was always a fan of Syntrax as they put out a really good product and don't hide anything in the labeling (i.e. "Proprietary blends") so you know what you are getting which seems like a rarity these days. I love the taste of it, I usually get a good mix in my shaker bottle, and I mix it with Lactaid milk. I was looking for a great tasting product that was lactose free and I could mix with Lactaid. I don't really care for the taste of Lactaid alone, but with this mix it makes it much better. Tastes like chocolate milk to me. However the price has come up quite a bit over the years, and the availability is questionable at times as the company seems to have issues keeping up with demand now.
