Our 30+ year old son played it when home for Christmas, and he quickly conveyed that he would love one for his home. It's a lovely, relaxing, melodic, instrument that can be used for many ages. I actually set the drum sticks aside for our granddaughter, as the black balls can be removed, so a choking hazard. I used a bamboo toothbrush, wrapped it with cotton, then taped them with black tape with a bulbous end. These sticks work beautifully for little ones and safer than the drumsticks with balls that easily become loose.
