Brilliant, cheap antivirus
This works well with my M3 Mac, the vpn is all I really brought this for. It turns on at the right times, when you manually select to turn it on, it’s very speedy (around 2-3 sec). I have full weekly checks which searches every single file to detect viruses, so far all good. That takes around 5-10 mins. I definitely recommend this, especially for such a good price.

Great Except for the Free Password Manager Extension
I was sceptical about buying this software on Amazon as it was so much cheaper than elsewhere but it worked absolutely fine. However there were some learnings which I share below: I went for the email option. This was fine. It came through about 20 seconds after Amazon confirmed the order and had the code and necessary instructions explaining how to install the software. I already had an active Norton Account so I was able to keep this account and reload the code and download. To do this, I needed to go to "Help" then " Support" and then type in "Device Security" and follow the instructions. It downloaded very easily and quickly. This option was not shown on the email which assumed I did not already have a Norton Account. It is easy and essential to turn off the Automatic Renewal (which is currently charging renewal at £69.99!). Go to "My Subscriptions" then "Manage Renewals" and follow instructions. When downloading I was given the option to add a free extension for Password Manger. This loaded fine but when I went to access my saved websites it worked okay except for websites with security numbers where Password Manager blocked these so I could not access these accounts.(It might have been the websites doing this as a security protection?) It took me 4 hours to work out how to disable the Password Manager. In Essence, I needed to go into my browser, find "Extensions" and delete it from here. It cannot be disabled from the Norton software.( even uninstalling and reloading would not work). In conclusion, I would buy this again but not add in any free extensions.

VPN is a scam
i installed this on a brand new laptop & once installed found it to be a bit of a "SCAM" i used the VPN a couple of times to see if i worked (& it did) about a week later i tried & it wasn't working , long story short i had a sign flash up while trying the VPN saying can't connect to VPN , there has been an issue try again later & next to this they had see our FAQ so i pressed the FAQ to see if this fix issues only to be told i can have a free upgrade to fix the VPN issues i was having but this comes with a £79.99 following year subscription which you can't cancel so a scam,

Cheaper than renewing
This is a lot cheaper than the renewal price, significantly so. I have used Norton for a lot of years, great virus protection and security. Just sign up to Norton, they email you when it has almost been a year to say the item will be renewed in a month or so. Simply log into your Norton account, disable automatic renewal. Then buy these cheaper versions and repeat the cycle.

Disappointing
Does not perform as I expected and does nothing except try to get me to buy yet more Norton items.

Easy to use and install
Although there are plenty of free antivirus solutions out there, you can also get a feature rich package with 12 months coverage for relatively little cost if you keep an eye out for bargain offers. Rather than renew automatically (which then becomes considerably more expensive), I simply shop around once a year for a '12 months coverage' bargain and go with that. I like the fact that Norton include a functional VPN for the price. The software feels very light on system resources and I have not had any issue with it.
