Fat Isaac Yamamotos catch bass better. Something about the flared tail I think (I dunno, I’m not the fish). I go fishing many different places and whenever I go to an overfished area, Fat Isaac always gets love, when standard worms don’t. Must have soft bait. Just used today and caught five in 2 hrs at a very popular pond. I fished all my other lures (lunkerhunt, yamamoto, swimbaits, segmented swim baits, jigs,) and I only got action on Fat Isaac.

I do love these baits, too expensive though. Very soft so you only get a couple fish per bait if your lucky.

This has been my secret weapon for large mouth bass for yeaaarrrrssss. Never fails me. Add a little garlic spray and it’s a guarantee. Trust and thank me later.

Action on these things are fantastic. I Texas rig them upside down so the eye of the hook comes through the center of the tentacles. My only issue with these is that they are clearly poured in 2 separate pieces, the tube body is poured separately from the tentacles. The seam where they are glued together tends to separate after a couple catches. Mend it glues them back together, but it's still a bit of a pain.

I heard about the fat ika On a YouTube video for beginning fishermen. They suggested throwing it and letting it set for 30 sec then retrieving it slowly between pauses. I found fish took it while it was still and not moving. On a small private lake it was a killer bait. On a bigger lake it didn't do as well but it's worth using. Put the hook in from the skirt end for best results. Good luck.

This bait has produced some big bass in the 4 - 7 lb range for me consistently!

This are awesome for casting onto or near shore from boat. Can be rigged seedless. The bass can’t refuse them at sunrise or sunset. If they don’t hit in first couple of jerks of your pole, they probably won’t. Retrieve and cast again.
