Nice heavy stone plates. They are beautiful and functional. I especially like the little lip on the edges so any juices or sauces don't end up off the plate. Havent had any problem cleaning them and they have done fine in the dishwasher. They do get warm after microwaving but if you use a mitt it's not a big deal.

They're the prefect weight. Easy to handle and look like they are going to wash up beautifully.I bought them for the color (black and white kitchen), style, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe.Only 1 blemish on a large plate. Looks like it happened when the black was being added. It isn't a normal scratch or gauge, just a 'defect' during production.The stoneware comes with this guarantee, so I'm going to call and see if i can get a replacement plate. Or if they have a suggestion on fixing it. I'm more somewhat concerned on how this will affect it going thru microwaving and the dishwasher.I'll do an edit as soon as I am able to talk with customer service at Stone Lain.Otherwise, I'm really happy with this purchase.

Saw these at a store for far more money. The set is nice. The black allows you to mix it up with different holiday or everyday colors. Had them for a little while now. Handles the dishwasher just fine. No breakage as of yet, so they seem pretty sturdy. Also bought separate pasta bowls that are equally as nice. Would recommend.

I love this set! I am considering ordering another to make it an 8 pc set. Highly recommend. The quality is great. It’s not light weight or cheap material. Love the color. Goes perfect with the theme of my kitchen.

I ordered this set in white and the color is beautiful. They were purchased in September 2024. I’ve washed them by hand and air dried. Occasionally, I have reheated food in the microwave on a plate. Recently, I noticed a crack in one of the small plates and a cup has chipped already and it’s only November.

I’ve wanted black dished for a long time and had my eye on some magnolia dishes but they were expensive and had terrible reviews! I came across these and bought them on Black Friday for an awesome deal! I got a total of 16 place settings. Everything was packaged so well nothing broke! I thought for sure with 64 dishes being shipped something would be broke, everything was perfect. One of my mugs does have some kind of defect or chip though, but I didn’t feel it was enough to knock any stars or contact customer service. These dishes are beautiful! Some people were saying they are more of a charcoal gray, I could see that but I think it’s just because they are matte. They also are not a “cookie cutter” dish. Some have little flaws or are shaped a little different but I chalk it up to being handmade and rustic. If you are looking for plates that stack perfectly these aren’t it. Because of the lip they also stack a lot higher than my previous dishes, I can’t fit all of them on the same shelf. I also have to skip slots in the dishwasher, none of these things bug me but thought I’d add that to the review for others. I also read lots of reviews about scratches, we’ve used these everyday for about a week and I’ve seen a couple very light scratches, nothing I would complain about. We have two rough boys who eat on these and unload the dishwasher and put these away for me and they’re holding up great. I have yet to use a steak knife on them so I can update on that once I do. As far as the mugs I do feel they’re on the small side, I’m an avid coffee drinker and do prefer a bigger mug. But again overall they’re still great! No regrets, I am loving these dishes so far!

Lovely color and it is holding up really well. These have quickly become the most used dishes in our home. It was a great purchase.

I bought this plate set for my parents as a housewarming gift & they love them. The plates are a good weight without being too heavy, & the quality is great. One of the salad plates arrived with a chip in it so I contacted Stone Lain directly for a replacement. They promptly sent my parents a new one so even their customer service is great. I would highly recommend these dishes to anyone who likes round plates but wants them to look fancier/more modern.

These are beautiful, I love the colour and shape and they’re exactly what I wanted. They are a bit heavy, and as you can see from the second picture, one of the plates has some spots that I *hope* will come out. I’m not completely bothered by the spots as I had some bamboo plates before this that were very prone to staining. All considered, I don’t regret buying, I think they’re lovely.

It is a beautiful set however when I received it the box was huge, open and not well packed at all for the size of the box and coming halfway across the country. The plates were smashed when I opened the box but Amazon processes the refund on it.I reached out to the company but have yet to hear back from them.It is a beautiful set however I would not recommend you purchase anything from this company. The actual dishes are beautiful when not smashed into pieces. What a shame!I rate the set 5 stars but the manufacturer and shipping -0 starsTo the manufacturer: what a waste of a beautiful set of dishes and you really need to train your shipping employees much much better than that.Absolutely nothing to identify the package was first of all HEAVY - no identifying it is over weight and no stickers to identify it is fragile. 1 small piece of brown paper in a box that was huge. I small piece of packing tape to close the box and it was 98% open when I received it.Update** I reached out to the manufacturer to see if I could arrange replacement pieces but because I live in CANADA I was told to contact whoever I purchased it from which I think for the 2 pieces I needed was extremely unprofessional and very poor customer service. I definitely would never purchase anything from Stone Lain again! Terrible customer service. Stay clear!

These dishes are HEAVY, and seem to be very durable after using for a month. There are no visible knife scratches on them, even though we use them not only for eating, but for cutting boards as well. Be prepared though- they come all together in a huge box that is very heavy, but well packaged. There were no chips or discolourations or scratches. They really do look awesome. And my kids love the dog-dish sized cereal bowls.
