Great boat! My son loves it! Have had it for over a year and still going strong.

This product is excellent, especially for the price. At around $50.00 you can not beat the quality. It comes with two batteries from the factory. They have around 15 minutes of straight playtime, which is not a lot, but the fact that is shipped with two greatly improves upon that aspect. The batteries take around 50 minutes to charge fully and are easy to install. The remote has a range of about 150 meters which allows for a good deal of area to race the boat around any lake or pond. My son had a blast with this model.The top speed on this boat is around 25km/h or 15.5mph. That combined with the acute turning radius of this model allows for some fun in the sun. This boat will turn on a dime. The controller comes with two settings, for right-handed and left-handed use. It has a basic throttle stick and turn stick with a few buttons to adjust trim in case the boat is vearing one way or the other. There is a battery indicator on the remote control that warns you of the boats lithium battery is almost dead. It starts beeping when there is around two minutes of battery life left.All in all, for the price point especially, I would recommend this boat highly. It has enough speed and agility to make a fun time at the lake. It is great fun for any kid or adult and I am glad that we bought it for our son.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this boat for my 4yr old (and myself) to use in our backyard pond. Without reading anything on length and weight before buying the boat was smaller than I expected but definitely had solid weight to it.In the water this boat is amazing. It’s much faster than expected and not too loud. The remote is very easy to handle Bc of its size. Easy controls. I easily took the boat out 60+ yards with no issues. The battery gave me about 15 mins or so which is equivalent to most drones or rc vehicles. However the boat comes with 2 batteries so you get a solid half hour. The remote also gives you the batter signal on the display as well as alerting you when the battery is dying so you can bring it in without getting stranded.This boat boat handles just great and doesn’t flip over easily despite being able to pretty much turn on a dime. I would definitely recommend this for adults and for kids who can handle the rc world. The only part I haven’t understood so far is how often I am supposed to oil the interior parts of the boat for longevity. But for me that’s the only “hassle” but I understand. Oh and the boat comes with a stand.I def recommend this purchase

The directions are unclear so here's a breakdown on the all important process of boat driveshaft maintenance:1 - You do not need to lubricate the drive shaft right away like the instructions lead you to believe. It comes well lubricated to the point of seeing grease spin off the front snout of the drive tube (see pic where the included screwdriver is pointing).2 - Unscrew the 4 screws holding the motor down.3 - Use a pair of needle nose pliers or tweezers to carefully pull the clear hose ends off the cooling coil surrounding the motor.4 - Unclip the wires to the motor by pressing DOWN on the tab and pulling apart.5 - Lift the front of the motor up past the wire bundle and pull it out of the boat.6 - Holding the shaft tip inside the boat, use the supplied wrench to tediously unscrew the aircraft lock nut by the propeller. I had a small socket that made this way easier!7 - Spin off the propeller as well and now the shaft can slide back and forth freely for lubricating.8 - Follow the steps in reverse but note that with a little lube on the output threads it's WAY easier to get that aircraft nut back on.Since the shaft and tube are brass it's unlikely they'll rust and with regular lubrication will have minimal wear. I would dry it off each time and put a dab of grease on that output shaft before storing it. Doing this will probably limit the need to pull this thing apart at all.BONUS - Not shown in the item's description is a rubber nose tip for when you crash this boat into something, it won't crack the hull! Seriously we have lost other boats to the pool wall before.

The media could not be loaded. The boat is well made, controls are easy enough for a four year old to quickly learn and use and the fun of driving and watching the boat was enjoyed by all ages! The boat’s speed is very impressive. It handles well with the remote control. The battery life lasted about 20 minutes, but it comes with a backup battery so you are able to continue the fun while the other battery charges. We are really pleased with this purchase and had many family and friends ask about the product. Highly recommend if you have a pool to use it in! If you drive it in reverse for a few seconds it tends to flip upside down so when using with younger kids I think it is best to have it in a smaller area, like a pool, where you can easily get to the boat and flip it over instead of on a lake or somewhere large and open. And, of course, always supervise your kids while they are using this in the water! Would not recommend it be used while people are actually swimming - it does move at a high speed on the water and that could cause real damage crashing into someone’s face/head. As long as you follow the instructions that come with the boat and use common sense, you should have a highly enjoyable experience with this RC boat!
