Would highly recommend this item. My young cat has played and played with this, the tunnel is about the right length and had some hammer with her going through it, not to mention my older and bigger cat joining in over the last 3 months. The product states it is for "indoor cats" which, up to a certain age, includes kittens. I bought this for my kitten and am reviewing this on that experience.You get more balls. furry mice etc. than you initially need but, given kittens' propensity to lose them under furniture etc., it's good to have spares. My kitten loves the fluffy ones best. She often carries one around in her mouth. puts it down, attacks it, before carrying off to somewhere else to repeat the process. She also likes to "dribble" the brightly coloured spongey ones.What really makes this value for money is the tunnel and wand.My kitten runs through the tunnel - which is in my hallway - dozens of times a day. It has several loose tassels on each end with which you can tie it to something. I left mine loose as she loves to roll around in it, playing with the tassels. she finds those irresistible - more so than the attached balls. Whilst she is attacking those - if I poke the side of the tunnel with anything, she loves to attack that through the material, rolling around as the tunnel moves. despite us playing this game many times a day, the tunnel shows little or no signs of wear.The wand also has had hours and hours of usage. it's a foot long plastic stick attached to a two-foot material cord with feathers on the end. My kitten will chase that around for ages. If I hold the feather end and swing that about, she'll attack the wand just as happily. if she wants me to play with her when I am doing something else, sometimes she will drag the wand, feathered end in her mouth, right up to me, looking up with her big round eyes as if to say "Here - I've brought a toy - play with me!"So, overall, this makes an excellent Kitten "starter Kit" - I cannot opine on how good it is for indoor cats as such but for a kitten, this is probably the best value for money set of toys you can buy.
