The DropWomen's Avalon Small Tote Bag

I LOVE THIS LITTLE PURSE!So cute! Very 50's-60's looking. I purchased the Gold (metallic).Great name "The Drop". it does resemble a big water drop!I was hesitant to purchase it because some of the other reviewers said it wasn't quality or it looked and felt cheap.IT DOES NOT! No, of course it Is NOT animal leather, it's polyurethane. Yet it feels thick and sturdy and mimics the feel of leather.It is well constructed, the stitching looks nice. And yes the opening is smaller than most purses, but big enough to place items inside and retrieve them easily.There is no zipper nor snap at the opening. The long loop is placed through the short loop to form the handle... this also closes the top of the bag. If the opening were bigger, items inside the purse might fall out even if it were closed. I have med-large hands (think golf gloves) and the strap slides over my hand (snugly) and is secure on my wrist.This little purse is going to be my "go to" evening, out-to-dinner-with-friends, purse. I would like to purchase a couple more "Drops" in different colors (I have my eye on the Chocolate, the Ivory, and the Red).

I've just made my fifth purchase, and now have one in several colors. Yes, you are right. It is not a large bag, but sometimes I only need enough room to carry very basic items and this bag is handy for that. I have many tote bags and backpack bags that serve a good purpose but sometimes I just want a small, nifty, handy bag. This fits the bill. Not leather, but I bet you would guess it was from a distance. A couple of additional colors to purchase and I'll be finally done.

Cute bucket bag, a bit fussy to do and undo with securing it closed so takes some time to open and close if you’re in a hurry. Hangs off the wrist.

This is the cutest bag ever and looks more expensive than it is. I bought the gold one. I can fit my makeup basics bag and my hobo wallet easily. I recommend it.

I’d looked @ these. Had red & black on” try before U buy”list for yrs.( so long they weren’t avail for that anymore) ! Needed lightweight bag after surgery. I LOVE real leather , however it’s heavy .So I got these. Happily surprised the black faux leather didn’t look cheap. Upon opening, the size was great! When I went to put my things inside, I discovered the opening was so tiny even my wallet wouldn’t fit through! Why! 😫There’s plenty of room for larger opening ! The black one was a black hole…most stuff could go in , but U’d never find it again! No wonder it’s on sale. BIG THUMBS DOWN! Sooo wish The Drop would’ve opened the opening up . A pocket or two would be nice too as it’s actually ONE BIG HOLE! Functionality aside, it’s adorable on the outside.

I wore this red tote to the Cowboy Carter concert, and it was the perfect size to meet stadium regulations. The vibrant color really stood out and added a fun pop to my outfit. While the material and structure weren’t the most durable, it served its purpose well for the event.

When I ordered it I thought it was bigger, I wanted to return it but then I started using it because the color was perfect, then I noticed is very good quality and for the size it holds a lot in. I really like it, I use it more than my other bags, it is so cute and comfortable to carry, is different.

I love that this is easy to take with me when I’m traveling because it can easily be stowed flat. I also love that I can put the loop through my wrist and it stays there for the times when I need both my hands. The size of the bag is just right. It’s actually not small. It can fit my iPhone (biggest size iPhone), an entire container of wipes, lots of make-up, keys and maybe a sandwich! LOL! it’s the opening of the bag that’s kind of small. But even that is doable. You just have to take out stuff one at a time. I bought the black and the red thinking that I will choose one and return the other. I’m now keeping both and thinking of getting the ivory and taupe.
