Excellent! Have lost 16 pounds!
You wouldn't believe what you think is healthy or lo cal food, or a "good" fast food choice, so isn't! And OMG! THE SALT CONTENTS OF FOOD, AGAIN, OMG! Don't just look at the pix. So incredibly informative, read the side bars! Take notes. I own every one! Except the kid one, no kids. But thinking about buying it cuz it just might be useful too. I bought them used, through Amazon, and they were all like new. For a large fraction of what they cost new. I love every one. The information is priceless! Get them all if you can. Would rate 10 stars! 16 pounds in three months, lost!!!! Eating foods I love! Shaving off hundreds of daily calories with minor changes. I could go on & on & on. Buy it, you won't be sorry!

Great Books!!!
This book is great and very informative. I have all the books in the series and refer to them very frequently. I would recommend them to anyone that wants the real truth about what you might be eating or ARE eating. It is shocking and makes you think twice about alot of the foods. Thanks to the author(s) for great books. Keep up the good work. I would recommend to add this book and all the other ones to your collection or library!!

Nice Supplement
I love this book. I can go to the grocery store a little better armed with the knowledge of what is best for my family. The only thing I don't like about this book is that it doesn't necessarily discourage one from eating certain foods that we know are already unhealthy for us but tells us which unhealthy foods are on the better side of the line. That's why I call it a supplement. However, I love, LOVE the chapters that talk about foods that are beneficial for certain areas of your health. There's a chapter on foods for blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar. There are blurbs about foods that will help with stress, mood, energy, feeling slim, metabolism, sleep, illness, libido, fertility, work outs, skin.......lots of interesting useful info. AND, if you're a person or a family that likes to eat out, this is a great guide to dishes out there that are surprises in the areas of calories and sodium intake. Very useful resource.

Another Book in the Series
This is the fourth book in the series and was a borderline 3 stars. They focused heavily on restaurants, and did not spend as much time in the grocery store. It would have been nice to see some recipes or maybe a "fast food at home" section. I'm glad I bought it on sale here,- otherwise I would have really felt like I got ripped off.

Eat This Not That Series
I think I have all the books in this Eat This Not That series now that I have purchased this one. They are chock full of excellent information for eating at home, on the go, at restaurants and in the supermarket. I recommend these books for anyone who wants to expand their knowledge of the good and not so good foods available to us. Clear, concise and even a bit of humor thrown in!

Eat This Not That!
I received two other Eat This Not That books from an aunt in California. I enjoy looking at these books. One item that has stuck with me is that the taco salad from taco bell has way too much salt for a person that is on a low salt diet. The fat that is in there as well is not good for a diet or to keep a persons weight down. Other items I use to enjoy where the Meatball sub's from subway. Well that is off limits - too much cheese and fat from the ground beef, also the Tuna sub from subway too much mayo pushes up the fat content, not good. These books have made me stop eating out at the fast food places, or at least quit going as much as I use too.

Eat this, not that
Excellent book. Makes you realize exactly how many calories you are eating in restaurant meals and how to choose meals that are half the calories, while still choosing tasty and filling items.
