Works well give it a try.
Well so far it is working very well. It pulls really good with no slipping so far. There is no instructions which always makes me mad. I can assemble about anything but I know some people cannot. One warning on the gear assembly that is ready to go do not over tighten the bolt or you will lock the gear up. The gear that goes on the stepper shaft should have two set screws instead of one. You will have to make sure the gear on the stepper motor aligns at the same height as the other one or it may not pull right. This is worth the money because if you get a roll of pla that has the diameter too small this will make up for it.

Big improvement over stock extruder!
This extruder pulls the filament thru without crushing, or deforming it. Easy to install by watching the video on the site. You MUST REDO your esteps for this product. My Stock estep was 94, but with this one it's 135. The dual gears are smaller in diameter, so more turns are needed for same length of filament. There are many videos on youtube on how to do this. Easy install and calibration.

Make sure the motor shaft is compatible!!! New Ender 3's have a shorter shaft and unremovable gear
I bought the dual extruder since the original one broke, so might as well upgrade to a dual gear. When installing it, I noticed the original gear on the motor was not like the one on every other video I watched. Turns out the new Ender 3's have a shorter shaft and pressed on gear. The only solution is to buy a new motor with a long shaft. Even if you are able to remove the gear the shaft is too short for the gear that comes with the dual extruder.Very disappointed with the Illogical upgrade Creality made, and Very disappointed there is no warning in these products. I had to buy a new motor compatible with the motor, so 40$ spent total. If you don't want to spend much, I would recommend just buying a single aluminum extruder. (it's exactly the same as the original one, but metal).will rate product once I get my motor.

Excellent Upgrade!
Excellent upgrade from the stock plastic counterpart that came with the Ender 3 Pro. I know there are many versions of this extruder and one thing I have noticed, some come with the associated hardware for you to be able to adjust the springs tension, this one however does not. It just came with the screws to keep the spring in place but once again, there’s really no way to adjust the springs tension without modifications. This hasn’t caused any issues thus far, but the lack of adjustability may be of concern down the road when the need to do so for certain applications arises.

Perfect upgrade!
I bought this metal extruder when my original plastic one failed me and broke.I had to go find a YouTube video to show me how to install this, but with that it was easy and quick.Once it was installed it fixed my problem I was having with 3D printing.Would recommend to anyone with a plastic extruder to upgrade to a metal one and this one is great - especially for the price.I have a Voxelab printer.

Totally Solved or print failures!
Could not figure out why after dozens of good prints, they all started to fail 1/2 way thru. Found out thru a youtube video that the plastic tensioner supplied with the printer is prone to fail and crack where you can't see unless you remove it. Same identical crack, same location. Researched aluminum tensioners and upgraded to the duel tensioner! Everything is back to normal. During installation of the new aluminum tensioner you should pack the bearing with grease to extend the life of the unit!

Looks like a good product, but it won't fit my Ender 3 Pro
First of all, it is likely I will update this review later. The kit appears to be well made and installation is not very difficult, but Creality has made some changes that might spell doom foe this upgrade. To begin with, my original extruder drive gear was pressed onto the motor shaft, not held in place with a set-screw. With a little effort I was able to make a miniature gear puller to remove the gear. The next surprise was that my motor shaft has no flat for a set screw. But even with all of that, I still was going to install the upgrade. The final challenge came when I discovered that my motor shaft was too short for the longer drive gear. The set-screw just misses the top of the shaft. My solution is to purchase another stepper motor with a longer shaft. My main issue with the Ender 3 Pro is filament feed. I've relocated the feed spindle, but the problems still exist. The Creality extruder feed is just not up to overcoming even moderate resistance in the feeding of filament. The problem isn't slippage on the feed gear, but motor stall. The motor is just too weak for the task. The dual gear upgrade kit provides more than just the improved grip on the filament, which in my case is not the issue. Because the extruder drive gear is smaller in diameter than the stock unit, a mechanical advantage is provided, effectively improving the torque of the motor. This should help prevent the motor stall I have been seeing.

Good upgrade for the ender 3 pro
Good upgrade for the ender 3 pro. I initially purchased this to convert my instone inventor pro printer to a bowden style drive. It solved slipping and grinding issues I was experiencing with the OEM direct trive on that machine. When i upgraded to the Ender 3 I swapped this on to the new machine and it has performed extremely well. Only complaint is the grinding noise it makes when retracting. spring tension is just a little too high and causes it to makes some angry noises.
