I loved this page holder. The wood is a lovely quality and it is beautifully crafted but how practical did I find it? If you're going to read a thin pamphlet for a short period of time, then fine. I however read for hours and found that it actually created a strain in my thumb. It was a lot more effort holding the pages open with it, than without it.

... especially on new books where the binding is fresh and the pages are slightly more forced into a closed position. The heart-shaped one or the oval seem much more appropriate. Or if the manufacturer made the edges a little less sharp. As the title says, nicely made, good quality, and would last a lifetime assuming you use it for the intended purpose.

I have started to get arthritis in my thumb and holding a book is becoming difficult. This little gem is brilliant. You wear it on the base of your thumb and it moulds itself perfectly to the shape of an open book so holding it open feel effortless! It is also beautiful and nice to hold - a smooth carved piece of wood. Make sure you measure your thumb to get the right size for you!

Presented well in a small cardboard box. Beautifully finished but smaller than what I expected and simply not worth £12.99.

Arrived really quickly. Good quality item, easy to use and helps me to multi task while I read. I love a coffee when I’m reading and I can now enjoy a coffee and my book! Highly recommend

Does the job perfectly and elegantly, the most stiffneck accessory I own, slightly over priced in my opinion but in tight.

This is beautifully made and lovely to hold. It was helpful to hold books open but I found it a bit fiddly with larger books, probably best used with shorter novels more than about 2-3cm thick.

Feels lovely to the touch, nice and smooth, great wee gadget
