Volkman Seed Avian Science Super Cockatiel No Sunflower 2lb

Good value for fresh, natural, healthy seeds. No colors, additives, or extras. My bird enjoys it & even her feathers look healthier, shinier. The only issue I find is that the zipper of the bag doesn't close, so I keep it in another ziplock bags & refrigerate for freshness.

I mainly feed my birds a pellet diet, but I love having fresh seed on hand to spice things up a bit. I have a parrotlet and a green cheeked conure who both adore this mix. It is always gobbled up when offered. The seed is always fresh and clean smelling; almost like something I would want to eat myself. The 2lb bag is just enough for me to keep on hand for 3-4 months without worrying about spoilage. I have had no issues with bugs. Overall a great quality product at a fair price.

This is a very good, basic cockatiel seed mix. I feed high quality pellets in addition to seed mix and it is hard to find seed mixes these days that do not have a bunch of filler in the form of cheap pellets and other junk my bird won't eat and therefor throws on the floor and wastes. There is very little waste with this product, my bird loves it. It could really do without the peanuts but other then that it's great.

I would have given a 5 star rating for this product but I didn't realize that this was a 2lb bag instead of the 4lb bag I usually get from Chewy.com for the same price as I paid for this 2lb bag. Chewy was out of this brand of seed for my birds to I tenatively bought it from here. I'm going back to Chewy.

This is the only seed my bird will eat! Love that it doesn't have the sunflower seeds!

Unlike other seed blends, this product has very little waste. My birds don't eat the peanuts but I leave them for the outside birds who gobble them lup!
