The packaging is A+; the box is nice and holds the 3 candles very snuggly. The individual candles are in a nice glass jar with plastic screw on/off lid; A+. Labeling is attractive for "manly use"; A+. HOWEVER, the scent descriptions sound wonderful and even smell nice when you sniff the jar, but when its burning the fragrance is mediocre at best! Even when using in a small room, about 150 sf, the scent is almost completely absent. Additionally, the wood wick, which is a personal preference, DOES NOT stay lit... not easily at least. Multiple attempts at lighting resulted in the wick burning out within a few seconds.If you're looking for an attractive looking candle that doesn't stay lit and once finally lit doesn't provide a detectable amount of fragrance, then this is for you. If you want a candle that does what a candle should do, then look elsewhere.

The size of candle could be a turn off to some... be wary these are only 3oz. Think... the size of a few shot glasses put together. The scents are nice but at least to my nose, they aren't super powerful. They barely fill up my small bathroom with scent; These would have no shot at filling up a larger open space with scent.Honestly, I see these more as decor and less as candles I'd burn to set a mood or to fill up a space with a certain smell. I've had other candles that have better silage and that "crackle" better, too.

The variety of scents is great! In particular the "Misty Falls" scent is very relaxing and appealing. Sadly, the "Alpine Spruce" scent - although pleasant - is a tad weak. Equally as disappointing are the wooden wicks... They burn very well, and the crackling sound is enjoyable however, there is no stability at the bottom as traditional candles tend to have with their wax/fabric wicks - this means that once the wooden wick gets shorter it has a tendency to be absorbed into the candle to the point where you simply cannot light the candle, even if there is still a quarter of the wax left in the jar. With all of this being said: the scents are nice - although definitely not as strong/poignant as advertised. The wicks are a nice feature, so long as you carefully do not allow them to be absorbed by the candle itself. Overall, I am moderately happy with the product, but it could definitely be improved in future iterations.

The Spring Meadow doesn't smell very pleasant. I see reviewer's saying the candles won't stay lit but, I feel like I'm starting to wish I didn't light that one. I can almost taste it. The Misty Falls smells more like laundry detergent and the Alpine Spruce actually smells alright. For the size of the candles, I don't believe they are worth the price. Thing is though, they aren't terrible. They maybe just need improved upon. I'd still try the other candles but, I'm not wasting money on another set of these, they just cost too much for the amount that you get.

Well hell's bells, they don't stay lit.

I loved the scents but they were smaller than what I thought they'd be. The wooden wicks were interesting and the scents warm tobacco suede and fresh shave all smelled great just think they should be a little larger for the price.

As I write this, I have the Spring Meadow candle burning at my desk. The crackling wick is just loud enough to be heard, but not distract. And the scent is in no way overwhelming. Naturally, describing the scent of these candles is not easy, and not something I'm going to do. Rather, I'll say the scents aren't what you'd find in a mall candle store, and they aren't Yankee Candle forceful. I had an initial concern with the size of the candle, however they have a great deal of staying power. This would make a nice purchase/gift for someone who prefers a less perfumy smell.Note: This is a real review (I don't do many) and I'm not being compensated for writing it, nor my time.

I wouldn't say these have an "Aggressive Scent", but they do hit a nice balance between middling and headache inducing. I let it burn for about an hour at a time and the scent does fill a small to midsize room. It isn't overbearing which is good for me because some scented candles are too potent and smell like someone sprayed Febreeze everywhere and can leave me with a headache.The crackling wick is something I enjoy and adds a subtle element that helps me relax a bit more. It is a tiny piece of wood so don't expect full on fireplace level of noise. In a quiet room you'll hear it and if a fan or the TV is on you won't.I enjoy using these. The fragrances are appealing, the crackling is a nice little touch, and they strike a solid balance in terms of potency. When this pack gets low I'll be buying another.

While the scents are nice, they are very, very weak when the candles are lit, to the point where they basically don't even smell, which defeats the purpose of even owning the candles. Also, the wicks don't stay lit very well and the generally burn poorly. If returning things on Amazon wasn't such a pain, I would immediately return the product and ask for my money back.

These candles come in the cutest little box and little candle jars that remind me of old medicine jars - really cool!The smells are AMAZING and MASCULINE. Only downfall is that the candles cannot be relit. No matter how much you try, once you blow out that candle - it will be impossible to relight. It's unfortunate because otherwise the product would be flawless.

Airbag in box to protect candles wasn't inflated. One candle was shattered and glass fell out everywhere. Not good.

These candles are an extreme waste of money only one smells good the others like Lysol air freshener they are hard to keep lit and when burning are so loud I can't even enjoy a movie on top of all that they are so small do not buy!

Candles smell nice and crackle nice as well. Came in nice packaging and on time.
