Bang for the buck
This is a great entry level bow for the price... with sufficient tuning. I got this 62" set up at 24 lbs for my wife. She had never done any archery of any kind and, when it comes to outdoor activities, she can be very... (how to put it) ..."noncommittal". Well, she loves this and I'm a brilliant hero! (for once) The bow is loud, rings like a gong with a resounding "booing" when you fire it plain, even after fiddling around with brace height. The addition of felt over the string grooves, a set of beaver balls (which my wife giggles at endlessly) and a brace height of 7-7/8" with a dozen arrows of proper spine and this bow is now quiet, easy to shoot and accurate. My newbie wife went from missing the backstop at 25 feet to minute of cardboard box at 20 yards in the first two sessions. She now shoots with me on the regular and we have a lot of fun. Money well spent, purchase well made.
