I read several reviews before buying this blanket and I'm glad I did. I bought a king size for my queen size bed. I didn't measure it before and after, so I can't really say whether it shrank or not after washing, but I will say the king size fits my queen bed perfectly.Also, another reviewer mentioned the amount of lint that comes off this blanket when you wash it and they weren't lying! It's excessive! I washed the blanket and had to clean our the lint trap AND dig even more lint out from underneath the trap and wipe lint off the inside of the dryer door. Then, I ran it through the dryer on no-heat for another hour, cleaning out the lint trap every 20 minutes. Be prepared!Otherwise, it's a nice weight and comfortable. It isn't the softest blanket, but I think that will come with additional washings.

Other than the fact that it leaves lint everywhere it goes (lol), this blanket is perfect. Perfect weight, perfect thickness, perfect texture, just perfect. The lint, though….ugh. I cleaned my dryer’s lint filter easily half a dozen times before it was dry (no heat, 10 mins at a time, per the instructions…cleaned it out every time it stopped). I swear I could’ve spun enough yarn to make a second blanket with all that lint. I laid it out and meticulously lint-rolled it after it was finally dry and it *still* leaves lint where ever it goes. So…warning? 🤣

Love the color of red in the weave and sole reason for my purchase. This is a very heavy blanket when handling it but not too heavy when in use. It's also not a super warm blanket but it works for me because I don't run cold 🥶 For laundering I feel this queen size would require a commercial size washer. I would certainly not dry in a dryer but it's also too heavy to hang on a clothes line. I also discovered that the threads/weave can be pulled if caught in anything like a kittens nails!!! Hey but it looks nice on the bed.

The white and charcoal is darker and less white than in picture but it is a high quality , soft, cotton blanket. Like other reviews have said, it has some weight to it . Feels like an expensive blanket one might get from restoration hardware

Don't sleep with your cat. It breaths well and keep you fresh. It works for the reasons I ordered it for.

I love this blanket it’s heavy but light for the summer feels great. Looks great on my bed just what I was looking for.

The media could not be loaded.  I really, absolutely, love this blanket! I grew up sleeping with nothing but natural fibers surrounding me: mostly cotton, from sheets to bedspreads. However, for the past several years I have been using polyester fleece blankets. After some skin allergy issues and a bad experience with a poor quality synthetic fleece blanket that shed balls of polyester like crazy (destroying every piece of clothing and bedding it stuck on to) I decided that I was done with synthetics and I began looking for 100% cotton. This blanket is such a wonderful find! My bedroom decor is mainly pink, gold and teal with a lot of Moroccan patterns and the chevron-like stripes of teal and cream are a perfect fit.Most importantly though:1. It is 100% pure, natural cotton.2. I ordered a King size blanket for my size Full bed (to allow for shrinkage that is inevitable with natural fibers & because I have 3 Chihuahuas that will burrow under & into my clean sheets if I don't tuck my blanket completely under the mattress on all 4 sides). The size I received measures exactly as listed.3. The fabric feels sturdy yet soft & while I did notice immediately after unboxing that a few pieces of yarn are more loose in the weave, I also can't believe the overall quality for the price! So, I will not complain...it might bother me more if it was not covered by the bedspread, however.4. The thickness is just right for year-round use. I live in the Seattle area & am usually cold; for the winter months I use a down-filled duvet on top & the rest of the year I keep just the empty duvet cover on top of the blanket & it is perfect!I will for sure be purchasing more of these Glamburg cotton blankets in other colors, as they are absolutely lovely!
