Beautiful and functional, it is easy to navigate and offers a detailed guide to herbal magic! Review: A Sturdy, Beautifully Crafted Wealth of Knowledge for Practitioners and Homesteaders - I purchased this guide to enhance my practice and slowly begin integrating plant and herb medicine into our daily lives. This book is a true wealth of knowledge for anyone looking to understand the mechanics of herbalism. It clearly teaches the differences between tinctures, oils, salves, elixirs, and potions—and more importantly, it actually shows you how to make them. It includes a deep dive into various herbs, covering their history, characteristics, and magical properties, with practical sections on healing, self-care, and culinary use that are perfect for practitioners or homesteaders at any experience level. As an artist, I especially appreciate the physical quality of this book. It is a sturdy hardcover with beautiful artwork, but the standout feature is the "rough cut" deckle edge on the pages. It gives the volume a unique, handmade feel that makes it seem more like a personal journal than a mass-produced book. It’s a beautiful and functional addition to my reference shelf. Review: Great book, great series. - I absolutely love this entire series, even though some of the books have some repetitive information. each book in the series gives a little bit of information on other books in the series, and then that book delves into it deeper. It's never enough information to make any of the books in this series unnecessary. The only thing I wish was a little bit better in this book, was that it had more herbs. There are 100 herbs listed with all of their medicinal and magical properties. Considering the size of the book, could have easily fit a solid 300 with all of the information beings that's the main premise of this book. Either way still incredibly informative and exciting to read.

Good Resource on Herbs
This was an overall informative and pleasant read for a book more on the basic side. Lots of info on Herbs and their uses with a mix of folk and magic. Some of the mythology was not in line with what I've seen historically, so I'm not sure where that was referenced. The one star gets lost for the cultural appropriation. I'm not sure when it was written, but...white witches, we don't need to "smudge" with white sage even if we do it with respect for the culture it came from. We can smoke cleanse to our spooky little hearts desires with garden sage, rosemary, lavender, cedar, etc. but not an over harvested sacred plant that we've been asked not to use. We can do better if we really want to "do no harm"

A Primer, an Encyclopedia, and much more.
One thing I really liked about this book is how, instead of just being an encyclopedia of 100 Magikal herbs like a lot of these kinds of books are, it’s also an excellent primer on using herbs for magik, from culinary to medicinal to ritualistic. The author is very knowledgeable about both herbs and magik (history as well as uses). Its beautifully written and easy to understand with tons of suggestions for spells and rituals to address the thorny problems of life. Highly recommend for anyone interested in magikal properties of herbs.

WOOOW!!! ✨🌸💭
