This is my second Panasonic hair clipper. I bought it October 28, 2021 on Amazon. The first was a more consumer rated model (NEWEST Panasonic Professional Hair Clipper ER1512) that worked very well for a year or so, until the charger failed and seems to be irreplaceable. I then bought the ER-GP80 on the theory that a professional model would have a more durable AC charger, or that the charger would at least be replaceable. That was a mistake. So, I have been left with 2 very good hair clippers that are useless once the last charge runs out. Both lasted long enough to breakeven compared to going to my regular barber. My next clipper will be another brand. Pity that a cheap non-Japanese nonreplaceable AC adaptor charger is the downfall of a pretty good machine
