Awesome item. Sharp, solid and durable. Functional and great for camping. Recommended. Used for camping. Size is perfect not to big and easy to carry with case. Grip is good comfortable and non slip.

Stays sharp and easy to hone. Rod throws sparks for years! Had to get one for my mommy!

I have a couple of other Moraknivs, both for carving though I've used one for camping too. The shorter carving knife (a 106, I think?) blade has softer steel folded over a harder core that takes a wicked edge, while the other isn't quite as good. This one came plenty sharp and will whittle sticks nicely, and the striker produces plenty of sparks - just remember to have the right sort of tinder on hand if you want to make a fire with it. The red of the sheath is pretty subdued and the black of the handle tones it down further, so it's not as eye-catching as I feared it might be - I don't like camping gear that's flashy/colors you won't find in nature. The handle feels solid in the hand, the blade clicks nicely into the sheath (we'll see how that holds up over the years), and overall I think it's a really good, rugged knife that should serve me well as a camping and outdoor tool. At this price point, you're getting a great knife that won't break your heart to lose and that you can commit to hard work in a way you might not with a more expensive knife.

Great knife and the fire starter really works well I struck it thinking it wouldn’t spark well almost set the house on fire

I had previously purchased the name brand version of this knife and wanted to get another one because I loved it so much but couldn't find it and settled on this one and I'm so glad that I did! It's very well made and super sharp! I love knowing that I have flint and a reliable blade with me whenever I need it.
