Shadezilla Free-Standing Instant Pop-Up Mosquito/Bug Tent with UPF 100+ Removable Ceiling for 1 to 2 person

I have purchased (2) of these and both items I purchased broke in the same place after only 3 uses (see image for representative sample). To be fair, I have deployed the items about 7 times; 3 times for an actual trip and 4 times for practice. I would attempt to return these but it has been a year since I have purchased them. I think these would hold up better if the manufacturer used a slightly thicker pole and perhaps a longer curved ferrule. (The pole diameter is 0.195" and ferrule length is 2.390".) Note: I have carefully followed the manufacturer directions for folding the units (which is very easy).I am also taking away a star because I found it difficult to put these units back into their carrying sleeves. If the case were just a little bigger, it would be a lot easier to put away.I am changing my review from 2 stars to 1 star. As stated before, both broke and they were always difficult to put back in the provided stuff sack without catching the product on the zipper. Recently I was able to fix the broken poles by cutting/re-terminating and epoxying the ends into the metal ferrule. The repair on both units failed in the field on the first use. I am giving up on this product and have since purchased the Sansbug mosquito tent. I hope they work out better.

Absolutely love it! After finding a similar, toddler-sized product, I was wishing I could have one of my own. Here it is! It pops up quickly, and with practice folds quickly, too. The two-person size very comfortably fits two people (even two roll-up beach mats, side by side). The mesh is very nice quality and effective. The sun shade rolls up nicely for star gazing. The zippers work - what more can I say? It's a free-standing, instant, pop-up, mosquito net! (And I bought mine for less than sixty dollars!)

I use with a pool float chair to lounge in the evening smoking a cigar without a single mosquito bite! Absolutely five stars!!!

This product would really do the trick however the netting is very fragile, I received it with a tiny tear in the netting (nothing a little tape could not fix)... It's a pretty neat product, it's very big and NOT small enough to use as a carry on as another review had suggested. It pops up easily yet very difficult to fold back up.. It took me 15 minutes to try and fold back up even with the photo instructions. I'm not returning it though because it will prove useful for the summer this year. Just got to be careful to keep pets and any sharp objects away from it.

Perfect for star gazing and keeping the bugs off you while laying in the field. Enough room for two adults (if you like each other), plenty of room for you and your child. It is a challenge to close up and it feels like it is going to break as you fold and twist it closed. Children love it and a great way to park the little ones away from the bugs in a playpen.

I would give this product five stars if I was able to fold it back down to its smaller size. It came with a DVD with instructions to do so, but I haven't had any sort of disk player in my house since my autistic son started using my DVD/CD/Blue-ray collection as house slippers for my hardwood floor. All video is stored on hard drives for that reason. I tried searching for a YouTube video with no luck. If I can get a digital copy of the instructions to view online our download, this tent would get five stars.

It does the job well... The only issue I found was when the tent popped up the velcro on the top flap ended up scraping up the mesh, kind of like a run in a stocking. I don't see any way around this issue, even with the velcro secured together when the tent popped the velcro would come loose and run across the mesh...I used this on a single bed with no issues.Be careful when opening the tent, aim it away from you because it pops together quickly and could hurt if hit by it.

Really like shadezilla my son uses it when he goes camping and it does the tricks of keeping out the bugs. But recently the rods broke I wish there's an easy fix like replacing the rods.
