This is ideal for a 2018 RAV4. It replaced a broken unit. I have a larger phone now so I bought this one. It works perfectly.

Using the included lever to pry up the metal strip across the dashboard of the RAV4 and install the plastic base was really easy. And the metal strip snapped back in place perfectly. I’m a little less pleased with the phone holder. The 3 prongs that hold the phone in place are not very deep and my phone and somewhat thick cover do fit, but not easily. It requires me to pay extra close attention to make sure all 3 points of contact are snuggly secure. I’d prefer to not have to pay such close attention. Also the ball joint doesn’t really support the weight of my phone and it just drops down, but is still at an angle where I can see it easily.

There was no way to attach this to my car even though it is supposed to be the right one for my make, year and model.

If you have toyota rav4 then there is no better choose for you, I tried all different type of holders and this one is the best

Amazing product

I like that the holder doesn't move around. I don't like that the cellphone case that I have is too big so it causes the phone to drop out sometimes. I wish the bottom holder would adjust some way.

Do not recommend. The plastic is very cheap and broke within 2 months of normal use
