Nutro Dog Food

Just started using this food for my dachshund. He initially turned his nose up at it but he'll eat anything out of my hand. As soon as he TASTED it, he took right to it and really likes it. ... Update: (After a couple weeks) I can't say enough about how PLEASED I am with this food. My dogs energy level is REMARKABLY improved & it's obvious he feels younger and healthier after having starting eating something healthy. I wish I had tried this food MUCH sooner. I HIGHLY recommend! Oh, & he is loosing weight at a nice healthy pace too.

We were relying on this exact formula of dog food for my 11yr maltese, who has the most sensitive stomach you can imagine (vomits easily and often to anything that is not this food). she's been on it for a few years now and it's been great. This past month, our subscribe and save delivery is suddenly unavailable, and without warning we're out of food!! we haven't even had enough leeway to transition her to another type gradually, and may be facing a tough week or two. Disappointed that this brand suddenly cut off an important staple in their product line. can't find it in any stores either.

I like this food for my cavalier king Charles spaniels. We have one who is bit overweight and the other two we don't want to gain any more wt. So far they are maintaining or losing a little weight. We have also used other types of Nutro dog food and been very happy with it. No digestive /diarrhea problems like we had with other brands. The small bite size is perfect for our dogs. They seem to like the food. The ingredients are healthy (not corn wheat or soy) The healthy weight food has less calories in it than brands of healthy weight food. I would recommend this dog food. My only complain is that I wish it came in a larger size bag.

We've been using Nutro for years for our dogs and they love it.It's a good food, did some research and this always gets good marks.The price is in line with what we'd pay for it at the local stores, one added benefit, Prime shipping....so my wife and I can just have it delivered on a schedule so we never forget to go out and pick up a bag when we're running low.

I recently relocated and had trouble finding this brand/type of dog food. Nutro is what I have always given my dogs and this type is what I have always given the little guy I have now. I could not be happier buying it this way! The price is exactly the same as I was paying at the pet store where I used to live in NM, BUT for a 3lb bag!!!!! AND this is delivered to my door in just a few short days! What could be better!! Price change is no longer what I was paying when I wrote this review. There is no benefit to buying through Amazon.

My pomeranian-poodle Chewy loves this dog food! And I, his Mommy, love the natural ingredients in it! He's slightly overweight so I wanted to get the "healthy weight" version. He eats it with gusto every night, despite his pickiness. I think he prefers the smaller kibble to the larger one that I have from this company. This bag is designed to be easily opened and resealed in the front, a design I truly appreciate. It keeps the food fresher for longer, and the much bigger bags don't have that option. Nutro's products are really high quality and both Chewy and I are very happy! You and your dog will be too! 🐶

The first time my dog stopped wanting to eat and she started vomiting yellow bile and had bloody diarrhea after eating this food for a few weeks. I thought she must have eaten something off the ground since this is healthy, good dog food right? We went to the vet, got rX dog food, a stool sample and 10 days of antibiotics and was told she will be okay. But after episode that she got pickier with the kibble. I thought because it was diet food, so I would sprinkle a little cheese to get her to eat it. I didn’t know I was dressing up poison until she spent time at my mother’s house and ate the same food as my mother’s dog for 10 days- no pickiness and no problems. When she came home and ate this food again, the second night she started throwing up yellow bile and had bloody diarrhea. Today I looked up recalls online, while none are listed, there are a ton of reviews on consumer affairs with similar symptoms occurring in the past few months. Basically, don’t buy it.

My Dachshund had gained a few extra pounds. It couldn't have anything to do with her being too cute, and thus I'm forced to share my food, could it?Needless to say, it was time to put her on a diet. I'd had previous experience with this dog food with another Dachshund, and it worked just as well as it did then.My little girl is back to slim, and just in time for summer!Now, does anyone have a cure for the cuteness issue?
