These kits have more pieces than some similar kits, and took more time to construct, but the results were impressive. The animal designs appealed to all of the kids in my class. Kids under 9 or 10 years might need an older person helping them get started and occasionally giving them a hint. My kids enjoyed the feeling of accomplishment upon completion. The end products are worth it, and I give them a thumbs up.

These are so adorable! My son loves making these! I think he likes these more than his legos because it has more detail and looks more realistic than the legos. My son is 10 and I would say this is the perfect age for these but I could see him enjoying these at 8 or 9 as well. I think he will be doing these for years to come also! The pieces are tiny compared to legos but the end result is AWESOME for that reason. I put the little packs in large Easter eggs and hid them for him around the yard bc he doesn’t like candy. He was super excited. Just know each animal is individually packed in a little baggie and those bags won’t fit in small eggs so you would have to get the large Easter eggs to stuff them in.

A few animals had difficult to follow diagrams, but most were fine. Some young children could not do these unless helped by an older child or adult, or if they’re bright. We did this as a family game on Thanksgiving. 7 year old couldn’t do it. 12 and up grandkids had lots of fun. The animals are cute and fun! They can be disassembled and redone again later with pieces stored in zip lock bags provided. Extra pieces were also provided, which is good because they’re tiny and could get lost. Pretty good entertainment and brain exercise for the money.

They’re very cool! We got them as Easter presents and she hunted them all down. They were simple but the pieces are so small it makes them a little weak. Definitely need tiny hands to assemble but strong enough to push the legos into place.I would suggest building them and then glueing them somehow and keep as decor or use at a party or as a take home gift at a bday or stocking stuffer.

We've made most of the block figures so far and it has been very fun! This is probably the best price for the number of figures you can make. I have seen a lot of the same mini-block sets for $5 or more for one figurine. They were fairly simple to make however there were a couple of sets that were a little difficult to follow as the directions seemed to have missing parts to it. Therefore if you are someone who is new to mini-block building it might be a little difficult. But other than that everything was great!

Got these as party favors for a nine year old. Really cool, but the pieces are extremely small and these are very difficult to do. I enjoyed them as an adult but I wouldn’t say it’s for kids under age 12.

I am a therapist and I give these to my young clients after or sometimes even during a session. They love collecting the various animals and they are economical enough for me to give them away.

Will buy again! My 7 and 10 year olds got them yesterday for Easter and have put all 12 together already! They take a while but kept them busy and quiet!!! The pieces are very tiny but they followed the directions and put together themselves. Minimal help. They are now asking for more since they are so fun and cute!
