how high does this bounce? would i have to be worried about losing it or breaking something? and overall does it help?

The ball bounces but not as a typical bouncy ball would. It is going to jag to the right or left. It will help with your athlete's reaction time. This ball will not bounce in a straight path. I would not worry about losing it, as it will eventually topple to a stopping point. Breaking something...yes with any ball you take the risk. This reaction ball is a necessity for my softball and baseball player.

What's the difference between this one and the newer model?
