Here are the Pros and Cons
Got this for our newborn niece. Her parents were anxious about transitioning their 3-month old out of the swaddle to allow her arms free now that she could roll over. After several rough nights with little sleep, they tried out the Nested Bean Zen Sack wearable blanket and it has been a total game changer for them!Pros:- Lightweight material is cozy but breathable enough for warm nights.- Kiddo seems comforted by the soft, snug fit around his body.- Arm holes are perfectly sized to keep his arms enclosed but allow movement.- Helps her fall asleep faster and sleep longer stretches at night and for naps.- High quality with durable construction that washes well.Cons:- Sizing runs small, had to size up to get good length.- A bit pricey, especially if you need multiple. Worth it but budget accordingly.- Can be too warm on hot summer nights. Need backup option.Definitely a good buy but wishing it wasn't on the pricier side. The security of the fitted fabric along with room for his arms provided an ideal transition out of the swaddle. Any sleep-deprived parents out there should definitely give this wearable blanket a try! It has been a total sanity saver. Hope this review helped!

Helps with transition out of swaddle
My 3 month old started rolling onto his side so I needed to find something fast to ease the transition out of the swaddle so his arms can be free. After about 4-5 rough nights of no sleep, we tried this and put him into his own crib in his room. For the first time ever he has slept over 7 hours straight. We finally have been able to catch up on sleep and we wake up to a happy baby. We use this for naps as well and he seems to fall asleep quickly. I love how light weight it is, as well. If you’re desperate like we were, try this. It may take a few nights to get used to but it worked for us and we are grateful.

4th size up
We have been in nested bean sleep sacks since the new born swaddle. I love the weighted beans, it really gives my daughter a sense of peace when she puts it on. She even runs to get it at bedtime now. I can’t recommend this enough.

Sleep
Our daughter was very difficult to get to sleep. This was a perfect solution, gave her the comfort she was looking for and the ability to help mom and dad sleep through the night. Very soft and a great fit

Best $45 I've spent
I was skeptical to buy this sleep sack because of the price but after weeks of my baby waking up every one to two hours, I decided to give it a try. Best $45 I've spent! Her first night wearing it she slept six hours before waking and its only gotten better since. After about a month she is now sleeping 11-12 hours only waking up one or two times at night for a feed. Her sleep and mine has improved so much!

I like it, but why so expensive??
I like this sleep sack. I'm not 100% sure that it vastly improved my babies sleep, but I'll go with it. I like the feel of the fabric, the zipper access and the weight of the fabric (not too heavy or too light).I have two issues though:(1) My baby is 8 months. I ordered the 6-15 month size and he's already almost out of leg room. He's a "big baby" but not THAT big. I expected to at least get to 12 months or so before having to size up.(2) It's pricey. I like to have two of things like this so if we have a spill or diaper leak I can wash one while we use the other. But for this price, I can't justify buying a back up. Especially when he's already outgrown the one we just got like a month or two ago. So when this is in the laundry, I use my old sleep sack as a back up, which breaks the consistency of the "egg weight" and probably makes it even less effective. When this one no longer fits, I'll probably just go back to my old sleep sack that was like $10-12. I don't think his sleep quality was improved much if any, so while I like the weight and comfort of this sack, I just can't justify the cost. For some reason all these companies try to market their items as some kind of God-send for babies and charge so much for them. Then all of us first time moms feel like we're missing something special and buy it, then by the time you realize it's all just marketing crap and it's the same thing you could get for 1/3 of the price, it's too late to get your money back.Long story short - there are cheaper options on the market that I would say do the job just as well (at least for my baby). Save your money and get those.

Love this brand
We hired a sleep consultant for our daughter at 6 months and she suggested a weighted sleep sack. We went with nested bean and from the first night on, our daughter has slept through the night. We previously tried everything else but my baby simply wilder stay asleep for longer than an hour or so. Our daughter is 16 months now and still sleeping soundly through the night. Also helps with safe sleeping when baby is young since they shouldn’t have blankets in the crib. Honestly I’m not sure she’ll ever be able to task asleep without being in her sleep sack. She’ll be that big kid still using one heheh.

Zen Sack- Pros and Cons
I found this really helpful in 2 things; 1- helping to integrate the bedtime routine… after bath when this goes on top of my baby’s undershirt (summer now so with 1.0 TOG wearing a onesie would get really hot for my baby + my baby overheats quickly), he knows bedtime is coming. What is good is he also sleeps without it but the benefit of putting it on leads to point #2- he can’t push it off him in the middle of the night like a regular blanket. So he won’t wake up due to feeling cold because it stays on.The downside to it: the description does not state the TOG… we received it and it’s 1.0 TOG which is okay for April-Mid May in Canada but nearing the end of May now and it’s pretty warm for my little one. Another downside is the sizing. I’ve been using the looser clip since the 3rd week after buying it and I got size 0-6 mos. I now have to keep the zipper down or it would be too tight on his shoulders and arm pits. As I said he’s almost 4 months so it’s not even going to fit him until 6 months. For the price it should be better manufactured to last for the designated time. Maybe adding another clip/snap to the top would make it fit better?Overall it’s a good experience using it but if these adjustments are made, my experience would be much better!

Great product. It worked for our baby
It reallly helped with my baby’s (3 month) self soothing. She used to wake up a lot during the night asking for her pacifier and ever since we started using it she almost never wake anymore. Great quality also. But it is a thin blanket, for winter months we will probably need to look into the winter selection instead of the classic one.
