Some of the Old, Some of the New
This is the first book from Brad Sugars in almost 10 years. This is for business owners, new or experienced, young or mature, who want to learn how to run a better business. If you've read few or none of Brad's previous 14 books, the information will captivate and amaze you. Many of the business principles taught in the series are not part of formal business education. Many seasoned business veterans will realize they have learned many of these lessons the "hard way". If you are familiar with Brad's previous books and his teaching on the 5 Ways, team-building, sales, and maketing strategies, much of the content here will be a review. Take heart, however, as there is some new material. I was glad to see the explanations of allowable acquisition cost and lifetime value, two concepts which are relevant to all industries. Another feature, The Ladder of Loyalty, provides helpful insight into customer development for the long term. There are thought-provoking exercises at the end of every chapter which makes this more of a workbook. If you've been "scratching your head" (or banging it against the wall) trying to figure out how to get more customers, this book is for you!

Marketing 101 for My Clients
Marketing isn't rocket science. It's over-thought and over-taught. Most of the books you'll read on marketing are all about the trends and the latest ideas that will be yesterday's trends and ideas in short order.Brad's book transcends that by digging down to the rock-bottom basics of any marketing strategy--maximizing the return on investment. This book is easily read, and it's an easy reference when you want to go back and pick out a strategy or two to increase your lifetime value or decrease your acquisition cost. The book lives by its own standards. With a little effort, my clients could literally track the $ impact this book has on their marketing.

Brad Sugars did another brilliant job of making the complex seem simple in this easy to read practical book. Buying Customers...following this idea just makes sense. If you have your headspace in buying customers instead of getting your name out there you will see how using these ideas can grow your business and investing in buying customers. I really enjoyed the read. I have read all of Brad's books a few times now and this one just keeps it simple so we can succeed.

Useful if you are new to business.
I thought this book was going to be better than the cover suggested. There are some points that can help you if you are new in business, but with a few years behind you, there are other books in the field I would purchase had I of known.

A short message, that's understand in first couple of chapters.
This was a bit of a disappointment for me, having seen Facebook ads and videos of conferences about this guy; I had big expectations... in reality I found the message of the book was relayed in the first couple of chapters, the rest of the book then just went on to keep repeating itself. I've rated the book based on value for money. Unfortunately I've found that there are much better business books available. I'll probably never pick this one up again.
