Exactly What I Needed
My 17 year old dog fell through the railing due to his failing eye-site and his challenges in controlling his balance. The net was a perfect solution and I no longer need to crate him at night. It took my wife and I about 30 minutes to install the netting to cover an L-shaped stairwell. It comes with everything you need. The clips work best versus the thin cord that is also enclosed. We used additional clips to secure the bottom to insure it was tight and secure. We have hardwood floors and the brown netting worked well.

The material blends well and looks beautiful.
The material is strong and holds up well outdoors.

Peace of mind with our crazy kitten
We adopted a kitten in December, and he is a crazy little fluff! When we first let him out to explore, we found he could fit between the railings of our stairs and liked to walk along the outside. It's anywhere from a few inches to about a 12 ft drop over the stairs if he fell, and after having another cat fall over a railing (thankfully wasn't injured other than being a bit sore from the landing), I was super paranoid. The little fluff monster is really good at doing things that could potentially kill him, so I bought this in an abundance of caution. We have two nets set up starting at the banister and wrapped all the way around the upstairs railing. Luckily he hasn't thought about climbing it/jumping onto the railing yet (here's to hoping he never does).Pros:-Seems pretty sturdy, I don't think he could claw or chew through it easily (again, luckily he hasn't tried)-Brown color blends in well with the dark wood railing.-Effective barrier- does what it's meant to do.Cons:-Using the ties is a pain because the tie material is wider than the holes in the mesh, so it's hard to thread them through. Zipties work better, but since they're not reusable I didn't want to start with them.-When it's supported using only the ties/zipties it isn't very sturdy and tends to collapse and have gaps that our kitten could definitely worm his way under. I was easily able to remedy this though, by weaving the netting around the metal rails (alternating between inside and outside of the railing). This held up the netting well, and created a solid barrier that kitten can't get through. I then used the ties and zipties on the ends to hold them in place. In addition to the net I had to block off the outer edge of the railing near the top of the stairs, because of course the little maniac jumped up there and walked around the edge- which was really scary because with the netting up it meant he couldn't quickly get back to safety if he lost his balance or wanted to turn around. We ended up using a cardboard box and some of the spare zipties to block that- doesn't look great, but does the job until he's no longer a suicidal maniac. We're in isolation anyway, so no one to see our improvised baby-proofing but us!Overall, I recommend this netting to keep the stairs and outer railing safe for kittens and young kids. Took some creativity on my part to figure out how to maximize its potential, but definitely would be a nervous wreck without it.

Perfect for the deck
My dog decided he hates the next door dog to the west and loves the one to the east and scared the crap out of me trying to get to them a couple times (by squeezing through the deck slats which would then drop him about 20 feet to the ground). I got three of these, which match the color of the deck perfectly--added bonus--and fastened them all around nice and taut. Now he scratches on them but they don't budge. I read some reviews about the fasteneres not being good, and since I wanted this done right away I ordered some other zip ties in the same color that were much longer and had good reviews. Not sure what was wrong with the ones supplied but the additional set I got were more attractive, easier to hide, and easier to work with because they were so long. I'd just get those at the same time if I were you.

Not enough string for length
Netting seems sturdy, but did not come with enough string to adequately tie it up. Instead of sending black zip ties with it I wish they'd send brown ones.

Does the trick
We have horizontal railings at the top landing of our stairs. Looks really nice and modern except my 2 year old has started climbing like a ladder (and getting stuck). Definitely not safe so I was happy to find this solution that was cheap and easy to install without leaving any permanent marks or screw holes. It looks ok, but it’s more important to keep our daughter safe and then we can just remove when no longer needed.

Peace of mind
I installed this on my second floor balcony so I didn't have to worry about my pup, and I'm soooo happy I got it. It's not necessarily pretty, but it gives me so much peace of mind about his safety. He can still see out so he wasn't too upset when I put it up. It was definitely a bit rough to install just to make sure it was completely safe and he couldn't push his way through (mostly because it was just the tiniest bit too short to cover my balcony entirely so I had to make each side extra secure with lots of string), but it's solid now. Very happy I got this!

Quality control not checking included items!
Stairway Net-Baby Safety Rail net came without any of the zip ties or braided rope ties. I had to order another lenght due to the length did not fit the whole rail. I ordered the same item, same supplier and this one came with the zip ties and braided ties. Very inconsistent with products. I kept the first one but had to get more zip ties. Quality control must be on break!

It misses the fasteners to fix the net...
I did receive the net, but I am missing the attachments... It's disappointing.

It was exactly to size and the 2 options to tie it to the post were great.
We used it for are stairs so our small dog wouldn’t fall through if she got to close to the edge.

It Works Okay
It’s a very simple mesh that you could probably purchase at a local dollar store, and isn’t very durable in the long run. It’ll work, just not worth the price.

Matches our interior
It took a long time to find something that wasn't an eye sore. We ended up using more zip ties than what came with it, but not a huge issue. We wanted it to be attached tightly so it didn't sag. Overall it will help keep our toddler safe on the stairs.
