There is no way to know if this really works. I did not notice any benefits claimed. I bought it earlier this year in February almost a year ago. I've had plenty of time to run it and notice any benefits, but none. At best it's a big nightlight. Also, be careful not to touch it when plugged in, you will get zapped. Caution with children and pets!!

would have given it a 5 star if it doesn't make high pitched noise. Low noise level, but not completely soundless.

For the first summer in years I have not yet had a nightly allergy attacks. My hay fever symptoms, even at high pollen counts, are more or less gone. I have had a HEPA filter for many years but this is so much better. Just amazing....
