This kit has made making books/ journals easy. I use it to make my first junk journal with sewing. The only thing I would had like are paper clips. I had to purchase those only own. Price is good. Not expensive and I wanted to try it before I went with something more. Overall great price for what's included!

Love this packet and use it for junk journaling....I was happy to get all the essentials in a mini kit for a competitive price. While the bone folders are not actually made of "bone" they are super handy tools for the folding and burnishing necessary in a variety of paper crafts and binding. The needles are great without having too large an eye/head that might damage the paper you are working on and the handy plastic tube provides good storage. Only downside is that I might have preferred a white waxed binding thread; but the ivory waxed thread that was provided is awesome.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this kit so that I could craft my own journals and poetry books. The bone folders are sturdy, as are the eye-needles and the awl. I haven’t used the waxed thread, as I had some leftover from a different supplier, but it seems to be of similar quality to the ones I already use. This kit definitely makes the binding process easier. Definitely recommend!

I purchased this kit for an online class to learn how to make my own sketchbook. This kit was a great value. It had everything I needed for the class and didn't break the bank.

I used these tools to make a little watercolor book today. The awl is very useful for poking stitching holes and I can also use it for leather projects. There seems to be a good amount of waxed thread and the needles are sturdy. The other tools are useful for creasing and spreading glue (not sure if that's its intended purpose) as well. Look up some youtube tutorials on bookbinding stitches and you're good to go.

I'm new to bookbinding. These are the first tools I've purchased, just to get started. I'm on a tight budget.I wish this included a paper telling me what the tools are. There's one that I still don't know what it is. I figure I'll find out eventually.
