To start, I don't have a lot of punching tools. Not really my craft. However I needed something for a project that I could repurpose for other possible projects. This is the one. These can easily work as a name tags on gifts, place settings, art projects, etc. My particular use was to make birthday garland. Yes, I punched a bunch and then sewed them together (slightly tedious). My daughter will love it come birthday time so it was totally worth it. :D The punch itself is very sturdy. I was able to punch two sheets of 65# paper at a time comfortably. Three sheets was too many. Each cut was clean and crisp.

This punch is so easy to use. It looks nice by itself for a sentiment. It also fits great behind a 2 inch circle punch for added interest and layers. I always have this punch within an arms reach while crafting.

I have never been disappointed with the EK Tools brand of paper punches. They cut paper cleanly. The folding design is a big bonus as it makes storage of a flat rectangle easier than regular punches. It is my favorite brand due to superior cutting and slim footprint for storage.
