Call Me Crazy, But I'm Hearing God: Secrets to Hearing the Voice of God

Recommend book as a wise and practical tool to understand the gift of prophecy
Clements has the gift of seer which is a Biblical talent provided through the Lord. It is shameful how jealousy from other religious leaders quickly works to subvert prophetic messages which are a Biblically honored method for communication from God both yesterday and today (Heb 13:8). However, Clements operates in wisdom and humility as his book portrays. He states: "I believe that a person who is said to be a prophet should have a track record of accuracy backing their words, but perfection is not required to be a voice for God. The source is complete, but the voice that is chosen to communicate the word is merely human-kind. It's God in us, expressing Himself as a friend to human-kind. This prophetic amalgamation is the beauty of being an instrument of God."Even Deuteronomy 18:15-22 stipulated that only prophets who lead the people to follow other gods were to be stoned whereas if a prophet speaks presumptuously and the event does not occur then the people need not fear him (nor kill him).Clement does have a track record of prophecies documented by videos as follows before his death in Nov 2016:- Trump shall be a Trumpet- A praying president for two terms- They will say he has "hot blood"- He will fool the people [establishment]- He will bring walls of protection [border]- the economy of the country will change rapidly by this President- restore the fortunes of Zion (USA embassy in Jerusalem)- they will shout "Impeach, Impeach" but it will not happen!- he will throttle enemies of the West & Israel- they will try to put a witch in the White HouseI highly recommend the book as a wise and practical tool to understand the gift of prophecy!

Yes, he is crazy, like a lot of us.
It's crazy! Those who deny the existence of God have some great arguments. It takes some leap of faith to believe that a Deity made something out of nothing. Also, can you believe that man was made of dust? And woman from man? And, that they were given the task of propagating the earth? Just when it was all to begin, they went against the rules and were smitten with hard work, hard child delivery, and hard luck. Ridiculous!Who can believe in a God that would choose one nation over another to be His? Then let them become slaves of yet another nation for a few hundred years? And then set them free and lead them for forty years across a barren land, feeding them with some type of pastry and birds? And showing them where to go with a moving cloud and a giant torch? Unbelievable! It takes some credence to believe that this motley crew of people were given a parcel of land to call home, when others were already living there. Can you believe that in this land some cities were wiped off the face of the earth just because they chose to live a different life style, especially since they were born that way and couldn’t do anything about it? And, that morals were absolute? Preposterous!Oh yeah, this same ethnic group is said to have had a virgin give birth to a child who was to become some sort of a savior of mankind. Yeah, right. Born in a little hick town in a time when there was no mass communication, no great technology, or photographers who could have recorded this event for all to see? Incredible! If there is a God, He sure does things in a different way that we would. He sure doesn’t think like we do. It’s a wonder there is intelligent life on this planet at all. I mean, how can we believe in a God of creation and destruction? Of love and hate? Of compassion and anger? Of forgiveness and judgment? Absurd! If you were God, would you have done things that way? Of course not! We can think of lots of things we would have done differently. Like letting everyone decide for themselves what is right and wrong. Live and let live. Survival of the fittest. Whoever has the most toys wins. Eat, drink and have fun, cause tomorrow we die anyway. We might even have decided to be a non-god and just “let it happen” with a “big bang”! Would things have turned out differently? Doubtful! And don’t forget that this God supposedly revealed Himself to us through a man that everyone knows as Jesus. And what did he do? Got himself killed. Some say he came back from the dead and gave instructions to his band of followers to go everywhere and tell people about God. That’s it? People are supposed to do this? With help from from some Spiritual being that is to come live inside them? Come on. If God wanted to get some message across to us, wouldn’t He just show us some great magical feat that would cause us to say, ” OK, so who can deny You now, since You parted a sea, fed thousands from two loaves of bread and some fish, turned water into wine, raised some people from the dead.” Why, of course we would believe, wouldn’t we? Unlikely! As I stated, it would surely take a leap of faith to believe in such a God. I must be crazy, because I happily took that leap! Amazing!

Speak
A friend of God - this book goes beyond an autobiography. It encourages the reader to seek a close relationship to God, trust what God tells us, and step out in faith. This is illustrated with personal and Biblical examples of prophets who have gone the extra mile. Kim suggests that God stretches our faith, and once we have walked in a particular path with God, God is going to advance our level of faith to a new dimension. One of many examples Kim gave was about Moses having to strike a rock to produce water. He did that and water gushed forth. The next time God told Moses to speak to the rock. Instead of speaking Moses struck the rock - while that was something that Moses knew worked in the past, God was trying to take Moses to a new dimension of faith speaking to the rock. I came away from reading this book with great hope and inspiration. I highly recommend this book.

It narrates me to sleep
I find it better to read this book without the audio version. I wanted to listen to it while driving buuuut it's not a good idea while driving behind the wheel being Lulled to sleep. 😴 😄I personally love the message in this book but it's the narrator's voice. I would rather read it manually on my bed before going to sleep.
