Modern Warrior Tactical M88 ABS Helmet with Adjustable Chin Strap

It gets 4 stars mainly for the price. For this price it's a good deal, but it depends on what you plan on using it for. I got it for my sons costume for Halloween, and for that it is fantastic. However I would think if you were using it for paintball or airsoft you might want to make some adjustments. It uses rivets instead of actual hardware, and cheap webbing so i doubt it will hold up under rugged conditions. The chin strap itself is horrible. Expect to wobble everywhere. Then again the actual old PASGT chin straps were not very good. It would drive up the price a bit, but a surplus 4 point retention strap would make it far more comfy and a better less wobbly fit. Also if you really wanted to make it nice you could replace the webbing with pads....you'll have to drill out the rivets and use your own hardware though. Still for 15 bucks this is a great lil ABS knockoff. (EDIT: I purchased an actual USMC 4 point made for the LWH system, I had to drill four holes and the thinner helmet then a real one means you may need some spacers but this works much better, and my son can run with it stable even with webbing and no pads. If you are an airsofter I strongly would suggest getting a 4 point retention system, though it will cost twice as much as helmet. The different hardware stands out, but with a camo cover you won't see the different hardware. This works so well I am giving it 5 stars because again the price and durability of helmet itself is incredible.

I got this for a Tank Girl cosplay I'm working on. I love it. It's easy to paint on, it has netting inside the helmet, and it has an adjustable chin strap. I do have a tiny head, so it's rather large on me.

Saved me from a serious head injury or worse. I bought this specifically to wear into the woods while deer antler shed and mushroom hunting and glad I did! A gust of wind dislodged a broken tree limb and it came down and caught me square on the top of the helmet. I positive if not for this helmet I would of sustained a very serious if not fatal head injury. The limb was almost four inches in diameter, seven feet long, and weighed roughly twenty pounds. Knocked me down and dazed me but that was it.

I have quite a few hard hats, motorcycle, bicycle, and also so-called "bump helmets". Although the manufacturer and seller go out of their way to point out that this helmet is "not intended to provide any protection or safety", it is at the very least TWICE as thick as ANY of the other bump helmets I have that are intended for paintball and airsoft protection. It rivals the protection of any of the bicycle helmets I have as well. I prefer the adjustable suspension system inside the helmet for a good fit and shock absorbance to the cheap pads and styrofoam linings that many other helmets have. This suspension system also allows you to wear many of the tactical masks available, because the outer rim circumference is larger than most, and can sit low on even a large head. The larger size and shape also offers far better ear protection than other helmets out there. AND...the reasonable price, quick time for shipment, and quality of packing, puts most other manufacturers and sellers to shame. Pleasantly pleased and surprised!, and will definitely buy from this outfit again!

It's a good looking piece, good replica of what the real combat helmets look like, I give it four stars because I inspected it... when it came the metal pieces had rust on it... It's not designed for real combat though, perhaps airsoft, but a knife and bullet would go through it without much force. That being said, if you think it is Kevlar... it is not, it is plastic, a toy, a replica, so if you are buying it because you think that it would offer you protection don't waste your money.At the most part it could be a good costume piece for Halloween or something like that, but again, not to be used for combat. If you want a real tactical helmet, your going to need a Kevlar helmet, and they start anywhere from $45.00-$1,000.00+ depending upon origin, grade, and design. So if you want a real helmet... buy a Kevlar helt, or you can even find an M1 Helmet from Vietnam or WWII in good condition, and parts, covers, and add-ons for them as well, much cheaper since we have Kevlar helmets in use now, but still durable and combat worthy, as they were designed for that sole purpose. Comfortable helmet, Easy to adjust, Very hard plastic. Looks and fits great. I highly recommend this helmet for Airsoft or Paintball. would also make a great addition to a costume or Cosplay outfit. Mask in pics is not included, just used to show fit and look of helmet.

Here is the situation. I bought this to use WITH my paintball mask. I wanted a swat team look while I played. You can see from the photos that this helmet fots perfectly for that purpose. All you need to do is remove the visor of your mask and adjust the helmet's chin strap to your comfort and so that it is secure while you play! The helmet itself was surprisingly heavy and did not feel cheap at all. This will protect my head from paint 100%. I would highly recommend this! this doesn't add to "more fog" or anything like that either. I have an anti fog mask and it works fantastic and the helmet does not make it hotter or more foggy or anything like that. AWESOME PRODUCT! Shipped quickly with NO PROBLEMS!!

Larger than expected, however the straps for both the inside and the chin are adjustable, so not really an issue for me. Using this for a cosplay peice and it looks fantastic; despite the black variant appearing with a green chinstrap, I have noted that myself and others (based on a few reviews I saw before purchasing) received black straps with their helmets, so this may be an error on the distributors part. However, need to state that it is not meant for paintball or airsoft. It's a costume prop and comes with a disclaimer it's not made for protection. I would not recommend using this for either sport given this; unless you already are wearing proper protection beneath. (IE a Paintball mask)

En mi opinión me parece un muy buen producto, es decir, como dice el vendedor este casco no sirve para motocicleta o inclusive para bicicleta, sin embargo, considerado el precio, me parece que sobrepasa las expectativas, pues la calidad del producto es bastante buena. Personalmente me parece genial para ir al gotcha pues cubre bastante bien de los disparos sin romperse o sufrir daño alguno, aunque también puede servir para un cosplay de militar o algo por el estilo.

Bought this as a prop for a short film we are doing. Great look and great value. Webbing inside the helmet is fully adjustable and the helmet is light enough to wear all day. The helmet comes molded in flat black, with a few details (rivets and rolled rim) molded onto the surface. I will be painting this helmet to match the look we need for our story. I can see that this would also be great for air soft or paintball. The plastic is very thick and will no doubt be very durable.

there is no padding in the helmet which I didn't notice as this was my first helmet purchase and I've learned my lesson lolI rebought a done up helmet for $54 has the padding and small rails on the side for attachments or camera. I wouldn't recommend buy this helmet unless your looking to Build your own from scratch ..only nice thing is the style of helmet is cool but that is the only good thing about this helmet ..

Not the quality I was expecting. Although for the price it is rather ok. Better fit for an Halloween costume. Does not offer any kind of protection in my opinion. The item is rather big in size and leaves a large area between the helmet and ears. Makes you look like Dark Helmet from the "Space Balls" movie. Straps are cheap. So is the plastic. Again, really just for "shows".

Just what I wanted in a cheap helmet for cosplay. I don't understand the black helmet green straps though, but thats a minor thing

I bought this because I play air soft. I'v been wanting a tactical helmet for a while now and up till now i have been using my skate board helmet with a camo cloth over top of it. the helmet its self its wider then i thought and definitely leaves your ears open to fire from the front, that that can be solved by wearing a bandanna to cover both ears and mouth. the helmet chin strap came broken, and the helmet had a couple noticeable scratches on it nothing major. your definitely get what you pay for but this is 100% worth the money unless you can find one for cheaper.

Esta de bien por el precio, no es muy resistente (es plástico), cumple con su función (Gotcha) y queda perfecta con las caretas. Después de 3 meses los 3 cascos que se compraron se están rompiendo a la mitad.

About time they updated the price to the same for each colour. I use it to play airsoft. For the price you pay, it is fantastic. It protects the head and sides from impact. The downsides are that it's quite big and the straps are fairly thin, but if you wear something like a bandana like I do, it fits perfectly.

Great helmet for 20$, straps are not the greatest quality however they are fine for now, helmet is not too big which Is good because I was worried about it being very big... Im using it for paintbal to stop paintballs from hitting my head :)

Fits well with adjustable chip strap. Really gives that SWAT feel. Good for paintball or airsoft, but obviously NOT BULLET PROOF.
