We have a large family, & larger property in a farm-type area, where the lots are about an acre and larger. We like to go on walks, & sometimes we get caught out after dark, even when we did not intend to. We always bring at least one flashlight, headlamp, etc. on a walk if there is any chance of being caught out after dark because our rural streets are PITCH BLACK, with NO street lamps.With so many of us in our home, we tend to go through the light sources frequently because they get used a lot. We are constantly using them to check on critters, looking outside into the pitch black to see what is stirring, on walks, around the house & homestead, garage, basement, under the kitchen sink, etc.I wanted to try a larger light that could simplify walks, so we don't always have to bring a headlamp light for each of us. I saw this flashlight & wanted to try this style. Whatever light I purchased had to be RUGGED to withstand many hands, drops, etc. THIS one caught my attention, & has been a GREAT purchase!Even when we use this flashlight, we still bring a back-up headlamp, flashlight, etc JUST IN CASE it should go out, which has not happened so far, but better to be safe than walking down a VERY DARK street, with ZERO visibility for us to see what is around us & for drivers to not see us.This flashlight has a POWERFUL beam of light with SUPER BRIGHT & MEDIUM light from the front lamp, as well as a STROBE light if you HOLD IN the bottom button to activate it.The SIDE lamp has 2 brightness levels (SUPER BRIGHT & MEDIUM) also. Another FABULOUS feature the side light features is that if you HOLD IN the TOP button, a RED & BLUE STROBE light ACTIVATES! It is FABULOUS for maximum visibility, & the kids get a kick out of it too :).Another FABULOUS feature is that you can use BOTH the FRONT light & SIDE light AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!! Other flashlights I have do not allow for that, but THIS flashlight DOES :).I find the button placement to be PERFECT!I much prefer the front light button to be on the BOTTOM, where it is, because then I DON'T accidentally turn the side light on when trying to activate the main light source,. My hand is NOT giant, & does not naturally rest on the top button when I grip the flashlight, which makes it more fluid for me to have the BOTTOM button as the main light control. Even if it was on the top button, it would NOT be a big deal, but I do PREFER it the way it IS.One thing I am not crazy about is the charger being a barrel style charger. BUT on the flip side, a BIG POSITIVE about the barrel style charger, is that when the light is charging there is a red light, & when it is DONE charging there is a GREEN light, which one will not have the benefit of if charging via USB C, etc.The product photos show the flashlight being charged by a car charger, but that is NOT possible unless you have an adapter for a car charger to convert the USB port on the back of the flashlight so it can use a C, micro, etc charger. Since I REALLY like this flashlight as much as I do, I ordered some USB C Female to USB Male Adapter, so I can charge this like all of our other devices at home, in the car, & on the go! I am excited that I will be able to charge this in our vehicle soon too once the adapters arrive.The other 3 features of this flashlight are the RUGGED carrying strap which allows one to carry it slung over a shoulder easily, which you can even do with the STROBE lights on for VISIBILITY withOUT having to hold the flashlight by hand.I also like that it can be attached to a TRIPOD/ stand if needed, even though the light can be set down upside down, with the handle in the air, & used that way withOUT being held.The SIDE lights & strobe can also be used withOUT holding it, by simply standing the flashlight up on the front light lens (you aim the front of the flashlight at the ground, table, etc without actually turning it on, & then turn on the side light).The last feature of this flashlight is that it can CHARGE a phone, etc too... which is a great emergency feature. I try NOT to use it for that purpose because we use it so much as a flashlight & I try to keep it charged up for that purpose, but is sure is FABULOUS being able to use it to charge our phones, etc, if need be.Keep in mind, it's NOT lightning fast, of course, but it will work in a pinch.. for our LG & TCL phones it charges them at about 2% in 8 minutes. Since it is NOT the main purpose I purchased this light for, I am not too concerned about how quickly it charges as I have separate portable power banks for that purpose. It will also charge a device while it is plugged into the wall/barrel style charger.Overall, I am very HAPPY with this flashlight. I WOULD purchase it again!

First thing I will say about this is that this flash light is a fairly big. It is not the lightest flash light but still pretty easy to handle. The light is strong enough for me to say do not look directly at it as it can be pretty blinding. The flash light is in the form of a megaphone (although slightly smaller). For the most part it does a good job spreading out the light to ensure a good area of illumination but it does have a very bright center. I would say do not look directly at the light. The "trigger" is the main for turning on the flash light. It is fairly easy to get used to. There does not look to be any other light mode other than the side and the front forward facing one. When I first used the flash light, it was completely dead so I actually had to recharge it for a few hours. I used it after and the flashlight lasts for a few hours but it varies. It does get a bit warm if you have it on for long periods so be aware of that. The battery can be recharged within a few hours. It does not use your standard plug USB plug to charge. It requires an AC plug to charge which can be a bit annoying if you need to replace it. It does however have a USB port for charging devices. The charging port is not "fast charging" from what I can tell from my samsung phone. In terms of brightness, I used it during a home black out or camping and it was actually very bright. It does have a center "bright spot". Just placing it down on the ground and pointing it up at the top of the room was able to light up the room a good amount which is awesome. When charging, it actually fully charges pretty quick. From what I can tell, it takes up to three hours to fully charge, but I do recommend you do the cycle battery the first few times to have a longer battery life. The overall design of the flash light is big and semi heavy. The charging port is on the back and it is covered by a little silicone cover. Does not take much to pry it off. Just be aware this is NOT water proof. There is no real way to adjust the light from what I can tell. You are stick with it being the usual width. It is pretty much a single directly for the big flash light and one direction on the omnidirectional. There is a bright center and so you get easier sight. Even with the lamp part on the side, it is just an omnidirectional. The whole flash light is made of hard plastic but it is heavier than most flash lights due to the size. It is easy to scratch the silver paint. It does not come with any USB cables but it comes with a wall to AC plug. Overall this is a good flash light to have. It is big, bright, and works great for camping or emergencies. It also works great as a portable charger as needed. The battery also stands quite strong even in storage.

Bought this for a recent camping trip and I was not disappointed. The unit is medium size but not very heavy. The battery lasts a long time between charges. It even has a lantern mode and emergency mode. Definitely a solid choice for camping!

Great flashlight/spot light because it is versitile and powerful. Holds charge very well. Side work light is a great feature especially with the included mini tripod that I leave attached. The only thing that would make this product absolutely perfect for all applications would be I'd they designed it to take batteries in addition to the usb/ac charging. This way if you are totally off grid you have an additional option for batteries. Otherwise very pleased.
