Works good for creating miniture scenery
I use mostly to cut plastic for DnD scenery, works good for that.

Just what I needed
I bought some cheap nut/bridge files for stringed instruments. The smaller sizes were brutal on my fingers. This was adjustable enough that I was able to put them in the frame and easily cut what I needed.

Not a bad starter
It's a good value for starters, if your trying to build up your tools a little at a time and you don't have a lot of money, this is a good buy. The slide sticks a little when trying to adjust for size and it can take some time getting it adjusted right.

I’m sorry but….. No.
I hate being honest when it’s not a positive however I just can’t recommend. The saw itself is uncomfortable to hold especially when you have to keep the saw attachment secure with one hand and saw with the other. No matter how tight the screws, as soon as I began to saw, the screws became loose and the whole thing fell apart. Not only is there a screw to secure the attachment, there is a screw to adjust the height and both screws just weren’t doing what they were meant to do.So long story short, unless you’re cutting clay or maybe lettuce, this doesn’t do what it was meant to do. At least not for me and who knows, maybe it’s user error 😂

..Lets play a game....
Great too to have good price, easy to use, don't use on people...NO!! Or wood. Best for metal and plastic, with plastic Slow down you'll melt the plastic behind the blad making it hard to pull out....im not gonna say it, you thought it already.

could be sturdier
I purchased this tool to cut flatware for rings I was making. The blades are fine but sharp and they will cut the material. However, I found that the blade had difficulty staying tight in the frame of the saw. I even used plyers to tighten the blade holders but still would get play in the blade after sawing a while. This saw can be awkward to start exactly where you plan the cut. I found using a bar of soap to run the blade over before beginning helped. The size is good and the handle secure, I suspect there may be brands with a better design to keep the blade tight.

Jewelry saw
For small projects such diecast cars or wood projects it works fine. The blades don’t last long as they do break easily. It was still a good purchase

Good Quality
After taking a metals/jewelry course, I fell in love and wanted to work with metals more. The affordability and good quality make it a must have for diy folks like myself!
