GREAT LIGHT BULB

A solution in search of problem.
OEM and half the price of what the auto parts stores charge, but still $50 per bulb. The problem is the complexity of the HID lighting system it requires a stepup voltage module and an ignitor module. Both are over $200 in the after market. I see no advantage of this system over 9004 type bulbs.

Very bright
I bought this as a replacement for my random-brand D2S HID bulbs.I'm running this on a 55W setup (55W compared to 35W is brighter, lower color temperature, and less life.)But the light appears between yellow and white, brightness is about the same as my prior bulbs.Overall this is a great product, just wish they sold for cheaper.

Pricy, but the best.
It's a bummer that these cost as much as they do but they are the OEM for my Mazda. I've found them to be the best. Amazon's price is quite fair compared to other retailers. It's costly for 2 light bulbs everywhere, so it's not amazon's fault. All good. 4 stars.

Bright white light
Perfect fit and easy install on for our 2014 outlander sport. One of the old lights had turned a pinkish color which is an indicator that it’s failing and about to go out. These are a quality replacement bulb. Very happy with them.

Daylight 4300K
The 66240 has zero hint of blue hue (not sure about the 66240 CBI COOL BLUE, but judging from the review even the CBI seems factory 4300K). I actually like it better, as the more blue it gets, the dimmer it illuminates the road ahead. Blue hue may look cool, but in practicality it is useless.These are very similar to OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER in output color, which has been the brightest HID I found (the NIGHT BREAKER LASER was a failure; not even brighter than the non-LASER version at extra $40-$50).If you really need BLUE HUE, try OSRAM HYPER BLUE 7000K OFF ROAD at about $150 (who uses them off-road?). You may get pulled over, though.

Great bulbs when it works
Bought a pair in March 2023 and now in December 2024, one of them is burned out. I won’t buy another Xenon bulb so will try to find a LED replacement hope they will last much longer.

Bulbs received promptly and performing great on my 2005 Lexus LS430
Replaced my low beam original 2005 Phillips bulbs that would go out randomly and go on after turning power switch off ,then back on for my Lexus LS 430. . Problem solved with new Sylvania bulbs ,German made Osham which are performing perfectly with bright lights
