Crime Scene Forensic Science Kit: Solve The Missy Hammond Murder

This game was a lot of fun. They put a LOT of effort into the information you have to look at for the case. My 13 year old and I did it together.It is a lot of reading and some topic matters are for for you get kids (ie talking about sex, affairs, drugs, etc)The hands on fingerprint part was not very accurate which was messing us up in being able to guess who did it but ultimately we got it right!Would love to have another game like this but with even more hands on testing!!

This was a gift for our 14 year old daughter, she is considering a career path in forensic science. She loved it.She followed the material and spent weeks with a journal waiting for any spare minute to continue working on the case. She is sad that there aren't other cases to purchase.The material was all accessible via her mobile device, a desktop computer is not necessary.All in all, a great purchase and we felt the money was well spent.

My 11 year old daughter has hopes of becoming a detective when she is older so, I figured this would be perfect and it is! She was able to get a small idea of what it would be like and she was able to include her younger brother. They made up scenarios and found prints for hours.

Bought this for my 17yr old. He wasn't impressed at 1st but as he started to play it and his friends joined in they found it very fun. It needs add ons to allow for more options and complexity to keep the older kids coming back.

My son loved the peronal interviews, reports and conducting the fingerprints, blood samples. He felt the fiber collection sample was a little difficult to figure out due to little instruction.

I bought this game for the science-y parts…what a disappointment! The fingerprint activity was not helpful and hard to do without a magnifying glass. The worst part, though, was the blood analysis. None of the samples changed color at all. Total bust. And the rest of the investigative file online was useless. It would have been way better to have that stuff printed to go along with the science (assuming the science parts actually worked).

Gave to my son, who is interested in Forensic Science. He was very impressed with the detailed and extensive on line files. Bottom line... he loved it!

Gift for our son for Christmas. He loved it and was fast at work starting the investigation! Great value too!
