My fault, I should have read ALL the reviews before wasting $22.00. I thought I was going senile because this is NOT the product I bought for lunch in NYC in the early '60's. Then it was the thing to eat, Cream Cheese on Date Nut Bread. And thru the 60's and 70's my neighborhood deli carried the date nut bread I remembered from my NYC's lunches. Only one other woman posted exactly how I was feeling about THIS bread.....that it in NO WAY resembled the Cream Cheese on Bread she remembered of HER lunches in NYC. That bread was fantastic.....this one .... nauseating. I threw it out. Just when cutting a slice, the whole slice crumbled into little pieces. You can't spread cream cheese because the whole thing crumbles as soon as a knife GENTLY touches it. Save your money and keep your fingers away from the keyboard....this is not good stuff.

I've been dying for a piece of good Apple Cake for the longest time. I figured I would try Beatrice's Apple Streusel cake. I just finished my first piece. True, and boy oh boy! It's fantastic & super delicious!!! I'll be back!!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have been looking for date nut bread , it is not very popular now.I was looking forward to trying this, but I was disappointed . I had two slices and it is still on my counter , not worth $21.

It doesn’t look as good as it tastes. I heated mine up and put butter on it! Yummy

So glad I ordered two! Gifting one along with some herbal tea to a friend. This is my first time buying this brand and I think it's absolutely delicious. It is sweet! It was moist and tasty. I would try other items.

I have been ordering from Beatrice for years and this is the first time I have been disappointed there wasn’t a single peach piece or peach flavoring, barely detectable very misleading. I don’t understand also it was very dry.

I got the Pumpkin loaf and it tasted wonderful!
