Good quality
Nice little tool. Worked well. The only improvement I would like to see to it would be an eyehole so it could be hung on the wall.

Impressive
Used this to cut flush pocket hole plugs. Very sharp, cuts flush, minimal sanding required. This is an amazing tool.

Nice little saw
Great saw cuts well and is easy to handle. Was a little smaller than I expected but great for the price.

Not Good
This isn't what I expected. It is far too short and stiffer than expected. After cutting some 1-inch plugs off, the surrounding surface was deeply scratch. It also didn't do the job as fast as my old Olson flush cutting saw. I ended up using my very old and dented Olson with faster and better results.I just finished buying an new Olson and it has a nicer handle and longer blade than this saw and is less expensive.

7 inch hand saw
If you do any amount of woodworking, cleaning up a rough cut, cutting dowels, a good handsaw is a real plus. This little saw has worked pretty good, have 1 bent tooth, but should be able to straighten. If I had to do over again, would've bought the little larger 9 inch hand saw. The bendable blade is a plus when cutting installed dowels. Would recommend.

Cuts well doesn't leave a mark on the wood
Some of the reviews for this saw say that it leaves a mark on the wood when cutting dowels. I did some practice runs, and this might be so. However, I wanted to keep going and watched a few youtube videos on using a Japanese flush cut saw. The reason is that I was making a wooden clock and had to cut 12 dowels for the time marks. Finally, crunch time, my dowels were glued in, and it was time to saw them using this saw. I was prepared to sand it later if it scratched my wood. Wonder of wonders, not a single scratch! I couldn't believe it. The secret is to put pressure on the blade closest to the dowel so that the blade is flat with the wood when it cuts. Use two fingers to press down on the blade when sawing. I was cutting through a Tasmanian Oak dowel (hard wood) and it handled it very well. When I pressed it down this way, I suspect the blade was perpendicular to the dowel and cuts much better. I repeated this 12 times, and could not find any scratches on my wood even though it was pine (soft wood).Hope that this tip will help people who have bought this saw. I would recommend it.Enjoy.
