These are very low quality for the price. The paint job was messy and chipped, also they are significantly smaller than expected

These cupcakes are cute and the quality looks decent, but for the price these things are teeny tiny. Like about 2 inches tall max. A good size for a 2-3 year old, a little small for a kid any older.

I was so excited when I found this on amazon. I thought this was super cute and not too pink all over like a lot of little girl's tea party accessories are. I recently purchased this because it went well with a Melissa and Doug tea set that had the same blues and reds for my daughters birthday. When it came I opened it up to make sure everything was there. Everything was there BUT the trays were all wobbly as well as having chips in the paint on the middle red tray which was kinda a bummer. I jumped on buying this because when I was first looking at it; it stated only one was left in stock so of course I didn't want to miss out on it. It's too close to my daughters birthday to send back and get another one in time for her birthday so I will be doing some painting. Overall other than the chips and making the trays stable the set is pretty cute. It has enough treats on it for when my daughter has tea parties with her stuffed animals or friends everyone can have a cute treat. So I gave it a 3 even though it is cute, I thought that a product orginally over $25 wouldn't have chips or need adjustments.

We purchased this for our daughter's second birthday. Incredibly adorable, sturdy and chip free. Each item is in perfect condition and is cuter in person. Just the right size for small hands and big imaginations. Perfect for tea parties!

Love the toy my granddaughter play with it all the time

This is the cutest set for my 2 year old daughter's play kitchen. She plays with this all the time and never gets tired of it. You can't go wrong with wooden toys. I feel like it's so much better for our kids compared to battery powered toys. I am now a lifetime customer of "Le Toy Van" toys.

The design and presentation are great. It’s a perfect size for my 19 month old little one. There are just slight imperfections and scratches when I took it out of the package. No big deal but value of the money isn’t fair.

This is an adorable little set of cakes. Perfect sized for smaller hands of the 2-5yr old crowd. My daughter enjoyed opening this along with the matching tea set and ice lollies on Christmas morning. Very nice quality. Right up there with Melissa and Doug and Hape sets.

These have a bright and colourful appearance, that was immediately appealing to my young niece. Even though she is only a little over one, she immediately knew what these represent and took to using them in imaginative play, pretending to feed various family members, or simply hoarding all the cake for herself!They have a good, chunky form and an ideal size for babies and toddlers, being about the size of petit fours. Despite being made out of wood they look quite tasty! The paint used is non-toxic, so should be absolutely safe for toddlers, as is to be expected from a trusted brand like Le Toy Van. We have had several of their toys in the past, and have always found them to be of great quality.I do think that, perhaps, these are a little over-priced for what you get and could do with maybe being two or three pounds cheaper.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I got the set of four cupcakes for my 3 year old daughter who adores playing tea parties and has several styles of cakes that she likes to serve to her teddies from different toy brands.Overall these compare quite well to others she owns, they are quite small (largest one is 2.5 inches tall, with a 3cm diameter) but in good proportion for little hands, they are well painted with good attention to detail. One cupcake has a cherry on the top with a felt stalk which is a lovely detail and I wish the others had similar felt embellishments. For the price (currently at just under £15) I would expect a little more to be honest.They're really lovely, and I do think its worth investing in quality role play toys like these as they tend to last a long time and get played with a lot (that is the case in our house anyway), but I wouldn't want to pay more than £10 for these nevertheless.My daughter is very happy with these which is what matters most, but even though I love that these are wooden, they don't get favoured more than her plastic cupcakes by her!

It makes me hungry just looking at them.
