Review: Perfect running vest for beginners - As a beginner at running I really wanted to buy a vest that was inexpensive while still getting the job done. This vest is it! It’s comfortable and lightweight and offers 2-3 pouches for me to place my running gels or chews. It also has a small zippered pouch that can easily hold my car keys. The water bladder is great and doesn’t leak. The water bladder is a little difficult to get inside the designated pouch and does require a little pulling and shaking of the whole vest. So far it’s held up with me for my long runs and it’s got more than enough space to hold all my necessary running items. Comes in a few different colors but pink was my favorite!

I tried a vest with a water bladder from a different seller and just couldn’t get used to it, it felt clunky and difficult to use. So I decided to go for just a vest with a regular small water bottle. This one is great because it comes with two water bottles that have a flat back so it doesn’t feel uncomfortable when you’re wearing it on the vest. Having one water bottle on each side also evenly distributes the weight which I really appreciate and find more comfortable. Two zipper pockets, one is big enough for my phone to fit comfortably and the other one fits my keys. That’s pretty much all I need, though I think you can put in some cards in the small Velcro pocket and the zipper compartment on the back is supposedly for clothes/outer layer though I haven’t tested that out. I am 5’0” and the straps fit me well, not too loose. It’s lightweight and comfy, I can’t feel the items I’ve stored in the pockets poking me or feeling heavy/awkward. I’d recommend this!
