My urologist told me I needed to take this because I was low on Magnesium which could lead to more kidney stones. :(So, I take 1 pill a day. My magnesium levels have returned to normal, so it is certainly doing its job!!Other benefits is that I've experienced are less leg twitching and less arrythmia! No complaints there! And, as we all know when we think about milk of magnesia, magnesium is a natural laxative. Suffering from IBS, I was concerned it might set me off. But, thankfully, these pills just soften things up a bit without setting anything off. (Sorry about the TMI, but wish I could've heard more about that effect of these pills prior to purchase, so ... there ya go! ;-).)Lastly, for some reason it was hard for me to find magnesium oxide - there seems to be a lot of a different type of magnesium, but not magnesium oxide. In fact, this was about the only source I could find at 400 mg at the time.

Magnesium is something I include in my daily regimen,and have been for quite some time. It a requirement for the body to work wellafter you get past your adult stage. This one works very well.
