I bought the smallest size thinking I'd use them as an ecofriendly replacement for my metal tea infusers. I don't mind the infusers, but my daughter can taste the metal. We both like loose-leaf tea (have you tried Vahdam's excellent Darjeelings? SO delicious!)We've been using the very non-ecofriendly fillable teabags made from some kind of polyester. Initially, I thought they were a compostable material, but I recently found out that they aren't. I thought these bags would be a perfect replacement.Alas, although they work perfectly for brewing tea, the tea tastes like cloth. Even after several brewings using the same bag. Ugh.But I'm still giving them five stars because they are beautifully made. The string tie is thick and strong, and the stitching is tidy and tight. Love this product the one thing i will say is that sometimes the herbs still come out through the sides where the seams meet and where the small rope begins. They are high quality though
