The only thing that could make it better is the mesh inside could be tighter to the roof of the case. Often, I open the case to have my cables and whatnot fall into the lower half. Well built case, great fit!
I really like having cases to protect and prolong my musical investments. These guys did a great job on the SP404 case! It has a sturdy, but flexible shell, and a clean fit of the 404 and its charging cable. The only thing that could make it better is the mesh inside could be tighter to the roof of the case. Great and as expected
I needed this case for my sp404 mkii. It fits perfectly. It also Hold the power cord. I won’t me transporting it a lot. However, this is great for storage and light travel.

It's a descent case but they should have put the inside pocket another way around
It's a nice case and protects the SP 404 mk2 well but why put the inner pocket in the current orientation? It's actually annoying to put cables inside and when you open the case, it's all over the place. The designer should have placed the inner pocket another way around so that when you use the handle, the cables stay inside due to utilizing the gravity. The current orientation makes all the cables fall out of the pocket. It gets annoying over time. If I had to buy the case, I would just buy magma one instead of this one.

Hard case! Fits nice with cables
Actually pretty hard case! Got room for some cables, which means be aware might not fit in your backpack. Might have to get a case wiyh no cable space

It’s a great case for the SP-404mkII alone
If you however have 2 or 3 portable hardware devices such as this, the novation mini mk2, iPad, and/or the Roland verselab MV-1.. it was my own mistake but I should have bought a much larger carrying bag for my music hardware on the go.. but if you’re just an SP - 404 user then it’s perfect

Zipper handle and carry handle will likely break within 3-6 months
I like the case design. It feels rugged and it fits my mk3 just fine. I can even put my thin ASUS ROG laptop in the flex sleeve inside. HOWEVER, I'm very disappointed that they went with CHEAP metal for the zipper handle. Mine snapped off with just normal use within 3 months. In addition, my carry handle just broke due to low quality sewing. Like I said, it's a bummer because the case is like 99% well designed but they skimped on the most important parts. I recommend you invest in higher quality elsewhere.

Perfect for the Orchid synth!
Fits my Orchid synth from Telepathic Instruments perfectly as it had the same dimensions as the Roland SP-404. Great quality and the included foam is being used to protect the keys. DELIGHTED.
