The Black Hole: V.I.N.C.E.N.T. & B.O.B. Disney Select Classic Action Figures 2 Pack for ages 10+ years

After talking with a friend about my love for Vincent and Bob from The Black Hole, I decided to search for them on Amazon. I came across this item and my inner child started jumping with joy, so I bought it. :) When I received it, it was better than I had hoped for. The quality of the pieces is great! The detail and care with the painting of the two was excellent. The two robots even seemed larger than what I expected. To sum up what this child in an adult's body is saying... I am very happy with this purchase and feel it was money well spent! Thanks!

I have always loved The Black Hole since I first saw it as a kid in the theater. Although the movie scared me, I developed a fascination for it which I still hold today. I couldn't be happier with how Old B.O.B. and Vincent look. They are movie-accurate and filled with so many wonderful small details. I love all of the accessories they come with. The stands allow for customization - you can decide what angle and how high they hover. It's clear that a lot of thought, time, talent, and respect went into creating these. I ordered Maximilian too. I do not think they could have made these figures any better. If you love The Black Hole, these figures are a must. Fantastic quality at a great price. I hope they make the Sentry Robot Guards next! These two robots are very well detailed. They were packed in carded blister pack with a display back ground. I overlooked the quality and craftsmanship was well detailed. I remember the movie, and was very excited to see these being offered. Very collectable for the fan of the movie and Sci-fi collector. Id like to find the Maximillian Figure. Hope that they have that. Item was shipped fast and safe. No damage to the pack. Thank you for a very reasonably priced collectable.

Diamond Select has really improved the quality of their work and these two robots from the Black Hole are really impressive. The sculpts on both figures is amazing. As mentioned in other reviews, B.O.B. is just a sculpt, but his head rotates and has good movement. The right claw is even movable to some degree, but the detail is amazing. V.I.C.E.N.T. is accurate too and has a lot of accessories such as extra claws for the sides and front, recessed "legs", and lasers. There is even the drill bit that he uses to defeat Maximilian. Other than a few paint flaws, these were perfect! If it were just the figures it would have been a 5-star review, but the clear plastic bases are worthless and did not support the weight (especially B.O.B. which is heavier), nor the center of gravity needed. The higher you position the figure the more unstable it was. I had to remove the smaller section, and use super glue to secure the arms from rotating and toppling the figure over. Also there was no background for the additional display base which is meant to look like the Cygnus. I guess I have to purchase the Maximilian to complete it? Directions would be helpful but there are videos online that people have posted of unboxing that help. I added a picture of the robots displayed on the shelf for reference.

Awesome... memory from the big one time...

V.I.N.C.E.N.T. and B.O.B. are two of my favorite robots ever, so when I learned of this set I knew I had to have it. I am absolutely amazed. The sculpt (by artist Yuri Tming) is perfect; the molds are crisp; the paint, lettering and detailing are excellent. They come with a pile of accessories to re-create pretty much any scene from the movie. I have not opened it. In fact, this is one of those rare times where I just have to have two - one to open and one to keep sealed. Just ordered the second one minutes before posting this review. If you're a Black Hole fan and love these two, you will not be disappointed by this set. Great work, Gentle Giant Studios.

V.I.N.C.E.N.T. assigned as robotic aid to the crew of the U.S.S. Palomino, was intricate to the search and recovery of the long missing U.S.S. Cygnet. The Cygnet, commanded by Dr. Hans Reinhardt, had been sent to study the intergalactic phenomenon known as The Black Hole. Upon arrival at the precipice of the mysterious anomaly, the Palomino and her crew were nearly devoured by the spinning gateway that is powerful enough to consume time itself. However, The U.S.S. Cygnet, equipped with specially designed gravitational stabilizers, locked onto the Palomino, saving it from the enormous mandibles of the Black Hole. Unfortunately for V.I.N.C.E.N.T and the rest of the Palomino's crew, this apparent rescue was more analogous to the old saying ' Out of the pot and into the fire'. I was very happy to find these on Amazon for my son. He recently watched the movie with me for the first time and loved Vincent and Old Bob since he loves robots anyway. They seem to be very accurate to the movie as near as I can tell. Great for kids action figures and/or great for collectors. I read several reviews where people didn’t like the supports and stand. I shortened these and tweaked them a bit to display them on my sons dresser. They look great.

いや～まさか発売しているとは思いませんでした、発送が中国だったので期待コンマ1くらいしか期待してなかったのですが再現度はなかなかの物でボブの潰れかたなんか最高です、私はビンセントが大好きでした、昔テレビでの吹き替え版でビンセントの声を竹中直人がやっていてはまってました。

Great detail and a good addition to you collectibles.

Fantastic pieces and a fun way to celebrate the Black Hole. There are some small problems with the items- like Bob is a little heavy for the stand, and Vincent's accessories are a bit finnicky. But the sort of toy that isn't really for playing with, so set it up the way you want and leave it there. The railing on the diorama doesn't quite fit perfectly either, but I'll probably fix that with a careful hand and a x-acto.

These little guys are incredible and should be in every 80's kid's collections. The stands are a little long but once you take out a section from each, they're hovering with the best of them. Love it.
