Looks surprisingly very good "so far"
As it is sometimes said, "You get what you pay for". This is some good stuff. Too my surprise it looks great on my huge front deck. It covers very well in one coat actually. Having been blessed with some very warm weather here in south east Tennessee during the last week of October, 2023, I thought I would try some of this deck stain. Glad I did. I'm ready for the harsh winter weather temperatures just around the corner. I've just ordered two more gallons to give my deck a second coat to maximize the protection on my deck. The price was a little steep, but it's well worth it. I just hope it can withstand the hard winter temps that is on its way. I'll to an update review next spring 2024 and let everyone know.

Covered beautifully!!
It turned out amazing!! Went on very easily and covered well!! It’s an older deck but still solid, and when we finished painting the house it really stood out like a sore thumb. My husband replaced a few boards and I agonized over the color…in the end we were so pleased with it!! Not too light gray…it really gave it a nice clean look!! We applied it with a brush around the edges and a good roller. It was dry in a few hours but we decided to stay off it and not put anything on it for a couple days just so it completely cured. Now the deck is beautiful and protected just in time for the rain!!

Very satisfied
This is a great product! I love the container … so much better than a can. The stain went on smoothly with NO streaks. I used a brush with extended handle … easy-peasy!

Referred to as paint and as stain, but behaves more like a stain.
The manufacturer refers to this both as a paint and as a stain. I am using the solid version in white, and to me it seems to be a thin paint. It is a bit thinner than quality paint, so it tends to run on vertical surfaces. Its thinness means I needed to use two coats for decent coverage, although the wood had an existing coat of white Sherwin Williams latex stain applied 4 years ago. As a stain, the resulting finish is flat rather than semi gloss or gloss, and a flat stain finish was my goal. This was my first time buying paint/stain in a gallon jug instead of a metal can, and I found mixing to be a challenge. A paint can shaker will not work, and the jug opening is too small to use a mixer of paint stick, I had to settle for hand shaking, so it is likely that the first pour will be thinner than the rest. Nowhere on the container is there any information about how long to wait to apply a second coat, or even if a second coat is recommended. But I needed to recoat to get decent coverage, so I guessed at 6 hours. The initial coat was dry to touch in an hour, but the second coat still has wet patches three hours later. It has just begun to rain (despite not being forecast), so I am hoping it is rain resistant despite not being totally dry.

Color Off!
Seems like a decent product, but color looks nothing like picture!! I got Dark Walnut, but looks a lot lighter than expected. I applied 2nd coat hoping it would darken up. Nope! It is very Matte, hopefully holds up. Time will tell.

Old deck made new again
I have waited to review until the deck was completely covered. My old deck (17 years) did take 2 coats because the first coat just soaked right in. So be prepared to buy double for old wood. Taupe color is a little darker than appears in picture. Super fast drying time. Good for brush or roller. Like the bottle, easy open/close and pouring. I can't speak to how long it last since mine is still freshly done but based on how it soaked it up like a stain I would guess it's gonna last a while. The cost seems to be in line or less than others I looked at.
