A MUST FOR SINGLE WOMEN
Get this product...it's great. I sleep SO much better now. Great innovation, good quality and it fit perfectly on my door latch. I live in an apt..with a leasing/maintenance staff that has access to all apt's. I don't want them ever coming in here on me. God forbid a nut gets a job at your apt building and decides to come in on you during the day...or at night while you're asleep...yikes!! Buy this thingy.

Absolutely worth $9.99! Any more than that, just make your own from wood or from clothes hangars.
Haven't been burglarized since I've owned it! Of course I do have a security door (but that can be bumped!). This product is worth $9.99. Otherwise, you're just as well off making something yourself out of wood or wire hangars.

May not fit
I bought 2, one for an old door/lock and one for a brand new door/lock. It fit on the old door perfectly...no effort at all. The keypout would not go on the new lock. It is a standard lock sold and installed by Lowes. Apparently the hand-turn knob on the lock that is supposed to slide into the keypout is too large and rounded.

May not fit your door
In order to use this item, your doorknob and deadbolt lock must be within 11 inches of each other. If they are farther apart on your door, then this will not be able to fit over both of them. Be sure to measure your door before ordering.(My deadbolt is too far above the doorknob for this device to reach both, but I was able to wedge it between the deadbolt and the corner of the perpendicular wall adjacent to my door, using it like a steering wheel club to prevent the lock from turning -- although not the intended purpose of this device.)If this were about two or three inches longer, it would fit over more doorknob-deadbolt configurations.
