Keeps the phone in place very well. Nice and sticky.

My car dashboard is flat and the perfect spot to prop my phone up in front of the speedometer when needing to use a map app, however it would slide around. This mat was perfect for fixing that and keeping my phone in place.It is quite sticky and I worried that it might leave residue on my phone case but that doesn't happen at all. I'm quite curious how they get it to stick.I gave one to my mom and her dashboard is more narrow than mine but I was able to just trim off an inch with scissors to make it fit.You can see as soon as a tiny piece of lint or something gets on it but it's very easy to clean. I just wipe it with a damp napkin and it doesn't lose the stickiness.Highly recommend and I think this is easier to use than the vent clips or other phone holders for cars.

I don't think you can beat the price on these handy grips.We have one in each car and I even use one to hold a box of kleenex on the top of the toilet so that it doesn't slide off.It did stick a little too well to the cardboard tissue box, but I don't think they are designed for this, so I can't fault the product. And the surface of the sticky that didn't have paper peeled onto it was more than enough to secure future tissue boxes. Besides, the sticky is washable, so I am sure I could soak it and remove the paper. But right now it is still doing its job.I recommend this product.

I live in central Arkansas where the summers can be brutal. I confess, I have a problem with driving the speed limit, so I have radar detectors in every vehicle I own. I have had the suction cup, windshield attachment provided by the radar detector makers, literally melt in the August heat. I wanted to try this as they allowed me to put a sun shade in the windshield without taking the suction cup attachment down. Crazy enough, they work great. They stick to the radar detector extremely well and to the dashboard well enough to withstand +1g cornering forces (yeah, yeah, speeding and cornering too hard probably makes me an enemy of the state to some). I have since recommended these to all my friends and family. When they begin to lose their grip, you simply wash them off - or heck, replace them as they aren't expensive. Plus, if you aren't inclined to high speed road navigation, they hold your cell phone in place too..

These are great, super sticky and durable.

These are VERY sticky, initially. You actually don't want to put the whole item on the sticky pad usually, because it sticks so much that when you pick up your item, it will peel the pad up with it. So, for most items, I just put a part of it on the corner of the pad. Because of that, I like that the pads are thin, so I can put part of my item on the pad and part on the console.Within four months it had no more stick remaining. On a previous silicone pad I had, when I would wash it with soap and water it would get sticky again. Not these pads. The soap and water had no effect. It's a good thing they are inexpensive, because it looks like I will go through the pack of them in a little over a year, having to replace them every few months. I'm still giving it a three star because they are inexpensive.

These are SUPER sticky. As in, whatever you set on there is going to STAY there if it has any smooth surfaces at all. I wound up using these under other items (tray, etc) that I wanted to keep immobile on my dashboard, because it was too much of a struggle to un-peel them from my sunglasses, parking card, etc. :) They peel up easily without leaving any funky residue or damaging the finish, too, so they're a great buy.

These are very sticky and I love that they stay where you put them and nothing is moving once they are placed. They can easily be removed and repositioned if needed. They seem very durable and thick and they look great on the dashboard. I actually love the way my radar detector looks on this as opposed to the window mount it came with. The only reason I deduct a star is they are smaller than I expected. I read the measurements but expected them to be slightly larger but they are barely big enough to hold the radar detector. They do hold cell phones great though, even in an upright position! If I need more, I would buy them again.
