The best guide book I have in my library
I’m getting old now. Retired. Seen a lot and over the years of working attended numerous training sessions targeted at “self improvement.” The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People is without a doubt the most useful resource I have come across. I purchased this version for my son and he loves it.

Beneficial to Overall Happiness
Originally, it was intended as a gift for a young niece. I found this read enjoyable & feel the messages provide enrichment to any age group. I’ve now sent another copy to a young adult.I did add notes to some pages:- When discussing dieting and exercise I wrote in that the purpose of diet and exercise is healthy eating and lifestyle rather than appearance.- Another reviewer shared that an anecdote about racism is, perhaps, outdated. I realize that this is a sensitive subject, especially with current events, that has many different perspectives. This is a reason that this anecdote is relevant and a good opening to essential discussion. Here, I wrote in:Social injustices exist. Oppression is currently happening. Discrimination is real and grievances are valid. People are free to communicate about these experiences and should be able to do so safely. For those who choose to create positive change: • Listen without judgment • Try to understand the struggles of others • Be aware that some people may be suffering The point of this passage is the idea that, “I don’t like being discriminated against, so now I get act like a discriminator,” does not show good character and hinders social and personal growth rather than aids progression.Again, this is my opinion pertaining to this particular passage. You are entitled to disagree. I’m simply suggesting that you may write in your own thoughts expanding on this subject and have a healthy discussion.- Before a few paragraphs discussing overcoming sexual abuse I wrote in: * Sensitive Subject Please prepare mentally before proceeding to read about the topic of sexual abuse. Be aware of how this may affect you.The messages and activities in this book will add to a solid foundation for anyone.

Very happy - great for teens & homeschool assignments
When it first arrived, I was upset because I thought it was a book. Then, I opened it & looked at some of the cards.I decided to make a card a week for our kids to write a small writing assignment for our homeschool.Today was the 1st day. They all loved the content of the cards & the assignment. The cards really get them thinking about self-improvement & critical thinking.I highly recommend this.

The 7 habits of highly effective teens
This book will change my life in the future. This book will help me to make the right decisions. The part that affected me the most was the habits because I could really get into them and understand them. I really like how it gives real life examples. I really enjoyed reading this book and these moments other people have experienced. The one thing I did not like is that each habit is very long.

A Powerful Guide for Teens (and Adults) Seeking Confidence and Growth
As an adult, I knew that I had unresolved childhood trauma to address, and I was stuck on where to start with that personal work. In my memoir, I call my path to healing 'eclectic' as I looked outside the box to see what was there that would speak to all the versions of me: the child, the post-abuse years teen, young adult and so on... The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens spoke directly to the "younger me" who lacked models for the kinds of habits Sean Covey shares in this book. It’s more than a guide for teens—it’s a valuable resource for anyone needing to go back a few steps and rebuild their confidence, especially if you’ve faced difficult circumstances early in life.I found the principles easy to follow, empowering, and incredibly effective for self-reflection. I’ve also recommended this book to young women I mentor, especially those navigating difficult relationships with their parents, to help them find their path toward authentic, confident independence. Whether you're a teen or an adult looking to reset, this book provides a solid foundation for personal growth and positive change. I recommend also purchasing the companion workbook, which is likewise very easy to follow.
