The whiter and rougher, the better. These work!
It’s hard to beat good, whiter, bronze-cut pasta from Gragnano, and Garofalo is up there with the best. Incredible value at just over £2 for 500g. Definitely buying again.

Pasta Seca Casarecce Garofalo - 500 gr _La Marca: Pastas Garofalo es una multinacional italiana que produce, distribuye y comercializa pastas y salsas de la máxima calidad, además de otros productos de origen italiano. Garofalo cuenta con 120 cortes diferentes con unas características de espesor y superficie. Es fundada en 1920, en Gragnano, Nápoles. Pasta Garofalo patrocina el equipo de futbol del Nápoles y en el 2016 ha renovado su patrocinio hasta el 2018 con el club, con lo que el logotipo de la compañía alimentaria aparece en el frontal de la camiseta del conjunto de la Serie A Italiana. _El Producto: Vienen en un envase de plástico típico que nos deja ver su contenido y con cierre fácil. Su forma es parecido a los macarrones pero llevan un corte paralelo (largo 37mm) que hace que durante su proceso de elaboración queden "retorcidos" (9mm). La fecha de caducidad es del 10/03/2019, con lo que tenemos 2 años y 4 meses desde que recibimos el producto. _Valores nutritivos medios por 100 g: Valor energético 1516 kJ/357 kcal. Grasas 1,0 g de las cuales Saturados 0,1 g. Carbohidratos 73 g de las cuales Azùcares 2,0 g. Proteínas 14 g. Sal 0,08 g. _Conclusiones: Dentro de la gama de pasta secas (no frescas) es sin duda una de las mejores marcas. El envase dispone de un cierre (adhesivo) fácil. En el caso de esta pasta "Casarecce", tienen un tiempo de cocción de 11 minutos y es una pasta deliciosa. Tiene una textura muy diferente y en su punto y con una buena salsa no pasa desapercibida cuando tenemos invitados en casa. _Pros: Deliciosa. Textura. Color.
