UACCO 20151C A/C Compressor

Been using a year before commenting. It’s held up and works perfect.

Worked like a charm directions suck dos not come with new seals. Be sure to set it down face first clutch down when changing the presser valve on back of pump you are going to loose some oil but by doing it this way you will loose a lot less. All and all the pump work’s great and it’s quite and that’s the bottom line I would buy again. Hope this helps good luck. One more thing when removing the plug on the back cover it with a towel it’s under presser this will keep the oil from spraying in your face.

Pumps quiet, still cold after 1 year

Worked for my 1997 k2500. Old compressor still worked but was making a rattling sound. So I bought this vacuum out the old system and recharged it and it’s way colder than the old compressor(that was only 2 years old by the way).1997 k2500 5.7l V8

I ordered this based off its description stating it was a brand new part. It showed up used so I immediately contacted Amazon within 15 minutes of arriving to get this sorted. They said that this was a tested used part and the description from the seller was a template and is wrong. That's false advertising. I agreed that if it was a used part and was tested to.be working I would attempt to install it but something needed to be done to correct this issue as it's about the same price as other new ac compressors.I attempted to install and charge the system and made noise with the engine running and as soon as I turned the ac on after charging the fan clutch siezed and started to smoking. This was never tested the ac clutch is completely failed.At this point I have been lied to twice and very upset. I am looking for them to do the right thing and refund me my money. This is ridiculous. I expect this to get resolved and if it is and they correct I'll happily change my review. I understand people make mistakes but this is not acceptable.

The quality of the machining and the way it was sealed and packaged looked excellent. I was considering a Delco unit but it was twice as much and also made in China like this one is, so I decided against it. I don't know how they can sell it for such a low cost.Cooling is excellent on my 96 Chevy PU now, time will tell as far as longevity.

Installed with no issues, followed the installation instruction on the compressor manufacturer website, which stated to vacuum the system for 1 hr. Also replaced the accumulator, and orifice tube. Ice cold air again! The pump is relatively quiet with no unusual noises You must use PAG 46 with this compressor, not PAG150 that the OEM compressor uses.

I bought this on July 2, 2019. I wanted to write a review when I made sure it would last. Almost a year later and I haven’t had to touch it since I installed it. Blows cold air everyday of the summer. Installed on a 98 k1500 5.7.Only trouble we had was on the back of the old compressor was a sensor held in by a C clamp. On the new compressor was a hole where this sensor should of been but was plugged. We took the plug out and it was compressed with air and oil. (Sprayed everywhere). We put the sensor in the new compressor and topped it off the best we could with oil. Not sure what the sensor is for but it works.
