Iwata-Medea Airbrush Cleaning Mat

I received this mat a few days ago and arrived in perfect condition. Although I have only recently started airbrushing, this item seems very useful and well thought out.

Much larger than I expected it to be! Was pleasantly surprised about that. Anyone who’s been in the airbrushing game for even a little while will know that Iwata = QUALITY. And this cleaning mat is no exception! In the end, I’m overly satisfied with it, and it also give me peace of mind knowing that I won’t accidentally lose any of my small (yet expensive) airbrush parts during the cleaning process. Those tiny nozzles sometimes grow legs and run away, never to be found again! Keeping a clean airbrush is absolutely crucial in maintaining its performance. Why not get a nice cleaning mat for that process? To me, it was an absolute no brainer. Highly recommended!

This is an excellent accessory for my airbrushing setup. It's just the right size and of great quality. It also has a diagram of all part for reference!

Did I need this? No. Do I love it? Yes. Heavy enough to stay put with a sticky bottom. Squishy in just the right way. The raised edge keeps those tiny pieces from escaping. And there’s a handy exploded view of an airbrush as a guide. All in all much better than a paper towel on the counter.

Love this pad. When taking airbrush apart to clean, the pad helps keep all the parts in one area. The edges of the pad have an elevated lip which prevents parts from sliding of the pad.

A must-have when cleaning any airbrush. Small parts sometimes fall but stay contained in the cleaning mat.

What is there more to say other than everything that Iwata puts their name on have exceeded my expectations. Cleaning an airbrush has always been an adventure to me because I tend to be easily distracted and I lose parts when I'm cleaning. This mat has raised corners so that everything stays in one small space,the only thing you want adjust is the way you clean and what you clean your airbrushes with.Invest in nice cleaning brushes cotton swabs that get into tight place like Tamyia's smaller swabs than what you clean your ears with,obtw don't let you kids play with them.But if you're afraid to get this nice mat dirty then you won't let it help you keep yourself and your parts finding the carpet monster and being mad at the world until your new parts arrive. Getting an airbrush dirty is a pain enough when it's time for a complete cleaning the last thing you need to worry about is small airbrush parts strewn all over your work space

I actually thought this was going to be a metal tray. It's actually synthetic material like nylon wrapped around a spongy rubbery tray. It's smartly designed in that parts are less likely to bounce off and into neverland. I love the sketch that diagrams assembly because I don’t use the brush that often and need guidance on how to reassemble it when the trigger falls out every time I clean it. Only issue, I think it's a little too large. Takes up more space than it needs to.
